This is a great Italian byob spot with authentic food and a relaxing atmosphere! We even got a piano performance during dessert! This is a must visit spot in Somerville, you will feel like you teleported to Italy

My husband and I along w my brother in law and sister-in-law had dinner there Saturday night. The food was OK. I didn’t think it was anything extraordinary. We had as an appetizer the artichoke there were two tiny pieces. I couldn’t believe how small it was.and that they have the nerve to charge $20 for it. My point is you can have good food but also give people what they’re paying for if you’re going charge somebody $42 for a dish put some food on it. The restaurant was clean, but nothing fancy. That’s why I don’t understand the prices. Anyway, we tried it next time we go somewhere else….

BYOB That's a plus. Great ambiance. Menu is limited compared to 13 page menus of some Italian places. Not the usual Italian. Excellent selection. Gourmet food. Pricey nut worth it. That's why BYOB is a plus. Owners are there. He cooks and later on will play piano and sing. Very worth the dine. Not sure what we ordered but both dishes were superb.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Mr. Filippo is a master chef and his wife a most gracious hostess. We will be back as regulars for sure. Can’t believe I’ve lived nearby for over 50 years and have never been there before tonight. Absolutely wonderful place !! I can’t recommend it more highly !! We will be coming back and telling all of our friends and family. The wait staff was also excellent. We were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Filippo himself which is a rare at other highly rated restaurants. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Such a wholesome place in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood. The hostess is great, service is spectacular and the food is authentic. BYOB is an excellent touch. The highlight will always be Filippo finding time to come and play the piano for the guests and make the already homely vibe even more wholesome. Especially love his Beatles renditions! :)

Chef Filippo’s cuisine, warm hospitality, piano and signing performance made the visit a memorable experience. I would go back any time, for work, or a personal visit.

Visisting NJ for my bday and googled restaurants near me and this one seemed pretty good. It was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious 😋. The service was immaculate and it was an all around great time. Would recommend. Dont remember the name of the meals but i have uploaded the pics. Also, wasn't aware that you bring your own wine which is pretty cool. This nice couple next to us shared theres with us which was so nice of them. Highly recommend this place. I ordered desert the flan (not my favorite of all the dishes)and i mentioned my bday earlier and the lady gave me a candle and sang me happy bday. So so sweet of her. Great atmosphere and cozy.
