Trufa Pizzeria

Layout/atmosphere
*Five tables, TV; cake display below pizza display

Food/drink
*Regular slice - Good; flop but some crisp on crust; sauce not sweet
*Red velvet cake - Good; moist (don’t think it’s made in-house)

Mediocre pizza, way too expensive, and slow service. Go somewhere else, this place is a rip off.

$3.75 for a plain slice, $4.25 for pepperoni, over $5 for a lot of other slices? Ridiculous.

High minimum to use a credit card too. It was $10 last time I popped in, and they raise it periodically.

Neighborhood "go-to" for pizza by the slice or pizza by the pie. A little pricier compared to the "dollar-tree" pizzeria, but this joint is worth the extra dollar or two. Try the garlic knots they're Hella good , so are the desserts!

I was in town for about 2 weeks and went here almost every day. Best PIZZA and other Italian food in NY. THE CAKES ARE TO DIE FOR!

I recommend! The pizza has a nice crispy, the dough is perfect! The sauce was amazing. The right amount of grease (if you’re from NYC you know that makes a good pizza) it was freshly made. The Garlic knots was super soft and so good.

The dough and toppings are (almost) always so fresh! Unlike many pizzerias, Trufa puts a very generous amount of veggies on their veggie pizzas. The eggplant slice they do is addictive.

Trufa Pizzeria is a great spot to grab a slice of pizza in NYC. The garlic knots are definitely a standout, with a fluffy and soft texture that melts in your mouth. They are definitely worth trying, especially if you're a fan of garlic.

The pizza itself is a good standard NYC pizza, which means it's pretty darn good. The crust is thin and crispy, while the toppings are tasty and flavorful. While it may not be the most unique or inventive pizza in the city, it definitely hits the spot when you're craving a classic slice.
