I'm happy with the Klemans I ordered from their online store but the company initially sent me the wrong pair of shoes. I received a hasty email from someone with their company requesting that I return the mistake package in order to get the shoes I originally ordered. A bit annoying, but I was promised a refund for the postage if I did as requested. I still haven't received the refund for the postage [Update: I finally got a refund for postage, one month later]. Nor has the company responded to my follow up email. The right shoes eventually arrived, and it came with a bonus pair of socks. Is this their way of trying to smooth things over? Regardless, I'm not too pleased with their customer service.

When it comes to slow, ethical and quality fashion, I can't recommend Betina Lou enough! The boutique is beautifully curated with clothing from talented local designers and cool international labels.
I always advocate buying less and better: if you're looking for your dream trousers, an interesting bathing suit and even a durable face mask, I would check them out. They carry women, men and genderless apparel, shoes, accessories and skin care products.
The bright and spacious boutique is tucked in a quaint street of Little Italy and a perfect stop while visiting the neighborhood. The owner and the rest of the team are friendly and helpful both in store and online (on their Instagram page).
There is great emphasis on sustainability too: the packaging for their orders is biodegradable and/or recyclable and they'll deliver by bike if you're in Montreal!
