119th and Third

Our new property manager, Dominick Hui, is simply excellent. He's responsible and responsive and extremely effective at addressing and rectifying any and all of the issues in the building. (He's also a really lovely person.) Under his management and supervision, the front desk and maintenance staff members are also functioning that much better. As a result, the "quality of life" in the building has improved--dramatically. Overall, 119th and Third is a great building to live in, in rapidly- changing East Harlem.

One of the best buildings I’ve lived in. The staff are nice and friendly and the building upkeep is on point. I hear vacuuming in the hallway almost every other day. During COVID facilities went around and wiped down apartment doors and elevators constantly. The building is a nice safe haven when compared to the neighborhood - but that’s NYC for you. Gym is an okay size but equipment is a bit basic. Roof deck is well kept. Units are large and spacious.

The up keep of this building is horrible . The most expensive rental in the neighborhood. You are not allowed to use the small gym much because when you do the noise bothers the residence next door . When I started my apartment search I was looking for a two bedroom and was looking into signing a lease in a building down the block . I was told by the building broker Amelia at 181 east 119 st that I am able to put up a wall to convert my space and personal showed me a converted flex apartment. So great I sign the lease and move in. When my professional wall guys came , the building 181 east 119 st completely restricted it . after I paid 1500 for the walls . so that money went into the dumpster cause all the material was paid for . now I have 8 month here and have an eviction notice from the building for having guest in my apartment . The funny part they is no noise complaint or any damages . I Have always paid rent on time. If you would like to see the letter I can personal email it to you .I am mad because I honestly never did anything wrong to be treated like this . This building is a joke do not waist your time.
