Abells Wharf

Great place to drop your boat or watercraft. The thing that irrates me the most is the people playing in the road/ramp area and folks fishing off the pier where people are trying to get their boats in and out of the water. The people have fishing lines all over the place and leave dead fishing bait everywhere, including hooks. I almost got my boat caught up in their fishing lines on a couple of occasions.

Always seems to be too crowded with non-locals (out of state) people/families hanging out on beach and fishing/crabbing off the pier. Never room for truck/trailer parking unless you get there real early.

Nice little hidden gem. Small beach, very rocky though. Beautiful views and shad to sit in.

Good place to put your boat or PWC in.
Often people fishing or crabbing have lines in the water on the boat ramp side of the pier.
Easy to put in and out, slippery if you have to wade in to hook up the boat to the trailer.

Nice free place to launch your boat from! Easy to launch! Good parking! All around a great place!
Plus there is a cool factory type thing near it to look at after launching!

I have been swimming here off and on for yrs. In 40 now and I went swimming here from now Since I was a youngin. Very clean. Nice pier to crab from or fish from. And they have a really nice boat launch to get your boats in and out of the water.

Get's the job done as a boat ramp, but a bit off the beaten path and parking can be slim to none. As we were trailoring the boat, we had some less than nice people waiting behind us. Not cool.
