WE were exploring Boston for the first time independently so we went to Boston Common to start the Freedom Trail. Paul in the Visitor Centre was so helpful, his advice definitely improved our experience of Boston, particularly his recommendation to get the ferry to the Charlestown Navy Yard before following the second half of the Freedom Trail.

We traveled from mid US across North.. came across several major cities and monuments..

We got struck with sheer enthusiasm when start exploring Boston freedom trail..
We end up closing remarks "Boston is the city of class" .. it's just a class ..

Popped in here before starting the Freedom Trail independently (not part of a tour), and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They offered lots of recommendations and we purchased a useful map that explained all the history behind each stop on the trail. There are toilets available here and souvenirs too.

Stopped by the visitor center for some postcards and a map. Saw that they had daily tours going. So we had to hop in one! The tour guides wore period clothing - which was very neat. Took through about 1/2 the freedom trail and talked/stopped along the way to talk about the different historically significant places. Very fun!

Disappointing freedom trail!!! Our guide did a good job considering she alone has to handle a group of around 100 people. Difficult to listen to our guide and enjoy the trail in such large group. Paying directly at the counter cost $20 compared to 17$ online, so always book online.

The people at the Boston Common visitors Center cannot be more helpful! I enjoyed my time speaking with them as they were quite helpful in me learning about the city of Boston. I cannot be more grateful for their knowledge…
