Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center

A nice place to eat but quite expensive. Understandably, given the location. But, a good resupply point for AT hikers. A nice gift shop. They even have nice gas pumps!! Gas wasn't too much more than any other place. The park Rangers, especially the very kind, friendly, welcoming gentleman at the south entrance point, we're all very knowledgeable and professional.

Excellent visitor center with super friendly & informative rangers & staff. Clean restrooms. A lot of information and cool trivia is available here. Plenty of parking. Decent gift shop exists here as well with nice magnets, stickers and whatever other merchandise that you might want.

The employees were really helpful finding a hike for us to go on and was very knowledgeable of the roads nearby. Bathroom was a bit humid and stunk a little but it’s okay. Very nice visitor center, some cool stuff to look at. Theatre was cool also!

Wonderful stop on the Blue Ridge parkway. You can get your NPS passport stamp here and earn a Junior Ranger badge. The rangers were so nice and knowledgeable! My son really enjoyed the hands-on exhibits!

Wow what a challenge but views are amazing. Went March 19 to 23. The NC ride is harder than Virginia. Parts are closed check their website for info. The visitor centers are closed except the one in Asheville. Not many washrooms this time of year.
