As of June 2024 these gates are closed due to construction related to the Kangaroo Point Bridge that is due for completion in late 2024. You can view them from inside the Gardens, but can’t exit to the street or enter the Gardens from this gate for the time being. You’ll need to walk a few minutes to the Albert St gates to enter / exit for now.

There on a foggy Brisbane morning, it was very photogenic with numerous people walking, running, cycling, scootering around or just admiring the green space.

Bust this weekend hosting the Brisbane Marathon & running festival.

Lovely spot to wander & breath some fresh air, or sit & read a book.

Great place to exercise early in the morning, Sunday market, where you can have your breakfast with plenty of choices.

If you love nature, you love to either exercise, relax & or read a book, this is the place to be.
Situated along the Brisbane river, whether you live in Brisbane or are just visiting - these gardens are a must.
The grass is amazingly soft, lush & green, the paths filled with so many sub tropical plants, beautiful foliage, colours & different varieties of flowers to admire.
You will encounter some wildlife as well.
The rainforest walk is definitely worth it, you can also stop at the cafe for a quick coffee or breakfast & for the kids, there is a beautiful playground for them to enjoy!

I had such a great time walking around the Gardens area, Its a big area with surroundings so expect to be here for quiet some times, many different views and memorials, there are couple of restaurants and cafe available, if you really want to visit all sides of it perhaps scooters and bikes are good a idea.
I had a little bit of hard time finding parking lot since most surrounding streets are one way streets.

Watched the Botanic Gardens come to life for Light Scape!😊 It tells such beautiful stories throughout the trail! Honest opinion we couldn't really enjoy it because there was so many people!

People trying to stop for photos in the middle, others waiting or trying to get around. If it wasn't so busy I'd say it was great! I thought it was alot of fun but felt like it was more for couples lol I picked up more of a romance vibe walking that trail😂 It was a great sight but too busy for me to really take it in. Maybe next time on a different date on a not so busy night🤷‍♀️🥰
