Large, peaceful gardens located right next to Brisbane’s CBD. Plenty of walking trails to take you past the largely sub-tropical plants and trees on display. You walk along the river’s edge for variety, or continue along the riverside walk north or south to the rest of the city.
It is very nice to have a garden next to a river. For the first time in my life, I saw trees with multiple roots. Walking and sitting by the river gave me peace. There were beautiful lotuses in the lagoon.
Peaceful and breath taking. Well maintained. No ticket required. Parking a bit tricky but available along side of the roads. Enjoyed my relaxing weekend. Will definitely revisit.
It is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. There are small puddles inside. It has become the natural habitat of water lilies and ducks. The varieties of trees and flowers are worth seeing. Various birds also visit such a natural environment and give a concert with their voices. I recommend you to stop and rest here while visiting the city.
Lovely place to relax and unwind in the busy city, maybe a picnic and a place for art. There was people doing yoga, painting, kids playing and lots of birds. There are fresh water eels in the ponds, I enjoyed watching them. The bats up on the trees can be very loud! Lots of flowers and some spiders in their webs between the bush, they (probably) won't attack. I was surprised that there wasn't any mosquitos or bugs that bite us, that was a plus.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of the city centre, located directly beside the river.

This is really a big park in the middle of Brisbane city where you can come to walk, running, chilling, cycling or have a picnic. I enjoy seeing a lot of plants and flowers. Also a lot of place to sit and chill. The river view is amazing too! Recommend it!
