Tried the wheel during a week and was not crowded and got in within couple of minutes. The tickets staff were really nice and respectful. The wheel was clean and tidy and feels safe. It goes about 60 meter off the ground and you could enjoy the city horizon. The time was a but short considering the ticket fee which was about $25 per adult. They took some photo at entrance with some green background and they photoshop it and sell it too you for $50 which is too much. I would but it if it was $10-1( but $50 was just too much.

It was great, I've never been a Ferris Wheel fan but this was really good, the ride lasted about 20 minutes, my wife and I had a gondolier (?) to ourselves where we soaked up the view and enjoyed our beer and Canadian Club.
Would definitely recommend .

It’s a good experience to do! If you buy the tickets on site they will cost you about $22 for an adult and $20 for a student, however I noticed if you book in advance you can save a few dollars. I highly recommend going in the afternoon around dusk, the sky looks amazing and the city looks gorgeous too. The ride is about 10 minutes I’d say?
Highly recommended !!

The Wheel of Brisbane is a nice experience, but not a great experience. Enjoying a day with the kids, hey dad lets do that, 5 minutes and $60+ later we are going for a ride.. Its not about the way it is run or the way it looks itself, the simple fact is at the highest point you may look over a part of south bank but that is moldy roofs, or a side on view to tall business towers, not worth it.

Had a great experience on The Wheel with my young child! Would definitely go on it again with kids or friends visiting. We went on a Sunday mid-afternoon and didn’t have to wait in line for tickets. I wasn’t prepared for the photograph they take at the start though and being produced with copies to buy once I stepped off!
Looks beautiful at night from the hotel window too 😍

On a nice day, views on the Wheel of Brisbane are phenomenal. A great place for tourists to capture the stunning sights of the river and the city. The ride is approximately 15 minutes. On the ride, an audio recording will play to describe any particularly interesting sites nearby. The capsules are air conditioned.
