Stayed twice within a span of 3 weeks as we’re travelling from London to up north and back to London again.

1. Staff
Kamil was professional and courteous.
Explained the works and waited up for us (after
8 pm, £50 must be paid as one of the staff
had to be in to hand over). No doubt it’s paid for
but we’re pretty late flying in from Athens.

2. Emails
Good follow up after booking with reminders
and extra instructions.

3. Apartments (two types - 1 or 2 bedroom(s))
We stayed in both types (party of 3 and 4 pax).
a. Clean enough.
b. When they state ‘free toiletries’, please
do not expect shampoo or shower gel.
It’s just a piece of small soap on top of your
towel. Does it cost that much to provide
your guest with these amenities?
c. The apartment though ‘spacious’, in my
opinion, is very cluttered as pieces of decor/
decorative items are not tastefully placed.
Looked good in photos but up close, well,
like I said, my opinion. These areas are pretty
dusty and were probably spring cleaned in
spring.
d. IF YOU DO STAY THERE, please make sure
there are numbers to call in the event of any
emergencies. THEIR 24 HELPLINE is not
manned. During my last night, and we had
to wake up at 4 am the next morning, water
supply was cut off. I would categorised this
as an emergency. Despite calls and
messages sent, we were unable to get a
response.

As I’m well acquainted with the UK system,
I managed to tracked down and contacted
the local water company around midnight.

Thames Water was fantastic. They explained
the problem (burst pipe in the vicinity) and
gave me an estimated time when the water
supply will be up and running. Thank god
the supply resumed two hours later.

I’m a guest staying in your apartment and I’m
handling the crisis. Granted, these unexpected
emergencies do happen and it’s nobody’s
fault. BUT THE POINT HERE IS I CANNOT GET
ANYONE ON THE “24-HOUR” HELPLINE.

Overall, it’s ok hence the 2 stars. I think I’m a fair person giving credit where it’s due and Kamil does deserved it. Some smaller details I can accept and overlook but to me, customer service is very important. Perhaps the other staff, Artiom, can learn from his colleague?

It could have gotten a better review...

Only ten minutes walk from King's Cross train and tube stations. Clean and comfortable and good value for money
