NJ Transit

They don't provide Maps for their bus routes. All Bus companies are required to provide this for EVERY route they run, and none of the busses for NJ Transit are compliant with this mandate of service

Crazy. The worst transportation system I have ever experienced in my whole life!

1: The NJT app stopped tracking the trains it’s been a month already.
1A: A 10 minute commute with NJT can easily turn into an hour and half… you know where you can fly in that time Toronto another country.
2: EWR needs more 62 to elizabeth going down 1&9 adjacent to the neighborhood of Elizabeth. NOT to ikea especially past 10PM every business on division st is closed.
3: North Elizabeth platform the pass 2 years the has fallen into DESPAIR.
4th Buses to Elizabeth should reach EWR 10 minutes after every half an hour to give grace to the employees getting off work to get on…
5: who running the schedules let me help your not doing a great job
6th since we can’t get more local stops on the train due to “Amtrak”, we need more frequent bus routes to Elizabeth.
7: Ewr literally is adjacent to Elizabeth it’s neighborhoods are not at all being serviced beside the 62 1&9 that only comes once an hour maybe 2, pray that it’s not going to ikea
8: The service and facilities are on a downward spiral, it’s meh at best and sucks 6/10 times. It’s going through serious mismanagement.
9: Dont get me started on the airtrain pass 10pm you will miss your train anywhere and be stranded at the airport. But a European company operates the airtrain so no accountability would be taken for that by NJT.
10: The airtrain is legit pathetic it takes 30mins alone to get to NJT platform when it should be 6-14 minutes. This entire operation is Pathetic NJT you are not ready to service the World Cup
Conclusion: DO BETTER !!!!! I’ve been doing this for almost 3 years and since the start of the new year it has gotten significantly WORSE! AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO RAISE PRICES FOR YOUR MEDIOCRE FACILITIES

Shocked at the positive reviews -- maybe the bus service within Newark and individual cities is better, but the commuter rail lines are difficult to use. They're very unreliable, come infrequently on the weekend, and are very expensive for the level of service you get. Maybe I'm missing better service because I don't use this service for commuting but I would recommend looking for other options if you are visiting NJ from NY over the weekend.

Riding the 190X is such a pleasure. I only wish there were express service all day long. Keep up the good work NJT!

Inconsistent and unreliable given the price you pay. Delays are random and rush hour secaucus can take 30 minutes to get through a tunnel. But hey the seats have legroom

I only give it a 4 star because of the confused state I was in while looking for the train to go to Newark airport.

For first time travelers, the instructions should be more precise as many people use the Penn Station to travel to the Newark Airport.

Otherwise, purchasing tickets through the app was easy and the journey was smooth.
