My partner and I attended the pottery taster class. It was a perfect introduction to throwing on the wheel and hand building. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, and is such a serene environment. The teachers were so patient and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lovely experience, patient and helpful instructors, beautiful studio space, relaxing atmosphere and music,
tea and refreshments kindly offered. A lot of ground was covered in 2 hours, with most of the time spent at the wheel. As a complete beginner I was able to make 2 pieces. Good value for money compared to many other pottery classes in London. Only thing that could improve is perhaps the instructor could move to the front centre so everyone can see her demonstrations better? But overall 10/10 and I highly recommend!

I did a pottery taster class (2 hours) with my dad, we both really enjoyed it. Around 1h15m on the wheel, the rest of the time was hand-building. You get to keep one item (they fire and glaze it). Good pace, lovely instructor. Recommended!

I'm only reviewing after two weeks of a five week class, but I'm loving my time in class and they deserve a five star review.

The teachers are both extremely talented and very friendly, and clearly take great pride in their work and their craft. Highly recommended for their classes

Booked a private group pottery session for my birthday here. It was SO much fun. They offered us tea/coffee/biscuits to begin. The instructors first explained and demonstrated how wheel spin the clay and create a bowl then we were able to do it on our own. It was a perfect balance of explaining vs doing. We ended up doing 3 pieces each. It was a little pricey (£55 pp for 2hr workshop) but was worth it in my opinion. Just didn’t like that we had to clean up equipment afterwards and we had to pay £8 for every piece we made after the first one we get for free but overall was great fun and it was a very pretty studio!

a wonderful class from start to finish! at Sak Beh you are walked through the full works, from wedging to throwing to cleaning and recycling. Only 7 students per class and with a wheel each theres lots of attention and dedication to the students. Tessa worked well with with everyone on the day, letting you get on the wheel quickly and start to get a feel for the clay yourself. Stepping in and offering support along the way if things were going south. By the end of the first session I had already seen massive progress so will definitely be returning to master my skills :)

What a lovely activity to go do with friends or family. Learnt how to throw on the wheels, although nervous at first the teachings were great and by the end made some cool looking mugs and bowls. Looking forward to make more cool pottery!!!
