Been with Spring Hill for years and they have always been pretty good. They are usually on time, and quick with their service. The Accurx system works well through the NHS app.
I only had one issue back in February where my health conditions were ignored by a doctor. I was experience sinusitis but I had also lost over 5kg within a month with no lifestyle changes, amongst other symptoms. And I was told “it’s just the gym”. I was also told that he did not have enough time for other symptoms and I had to book another appointment. Was a bit disheartened and ended up not going back as his attitude was dismissive.
I’m still experiencing these symptoms so I’ve been back and it has been great. I haven’t seen that particular doctor again. The staff are helpful and quick to respond. Their online system works well & if you are priority you will get a same day appointment depending on the severity of the case. I had a blood test with Kim who was friendly, quick & took care to make the process pain free. She is obviously experienced.
My positive experiences have been with Kim, Dr. Baron, Dr Patel, Zoe & the receptionist with the short hair (sorry I never got the name!). I’m sure there are more staff that make this place run as smoothly as it does, but these are just the individuals who I’ve personally encountered. Despite the anomalous issue, I understand how lucky I am to be able to have access to a healthcare team like those at Spring Hill which is why I’ll leave this review at 5 stars.

Very responsive and quick triage of my case.
I was very impressed at the level of service and follow up care.
All my appointments were on schedule, and Shiraz, my nurse, is a pleasure to visit and talk to.

Kim was amazing and so patient with myself and my son too.
She removed my stitches quickly and carefully, and reassured me the whole time that everything will be okay.
Little to no pain today.

I’ve had an awful experience. I thought they got better but I’ve been left with sciatic nerve pain to wait for pain relieve over weekend after seeing someone. They mess up prescription address and I don’t even get appology but receptionists openly laughing at me as I leave practice. It’s beyond me.
Basically called Friday as my pains got worse and I struggle working. Been sent to see physio who then confirms the issue I am already aware of. Fair enough I understand someone needs to assess to confirm correct treatment. Anyhow - they can’t prescribe me stronger pain relief but ensure that cold packs should help - I’ve tried these already along other over the counter pain relief for over a week now the reason I’m seeing medical care now is cause I can’t control my pain mangent anymore. So after being assessed I need to speak to pharmacologist to get prescription after 3 days on Monday. Obviously none cares how I will mobilise or pain manage over weekend. On Monday I’ve taken day off work as I can’t work due to pain and await phone call from pharmacologist who again confirms same pain killer physio already confirmed on Friday but for some reason couldn’t prescribe. Aren’t they doctors? On Monday I’ve been told my prescription will be sent to my nominated pharmacy end of the day. I walk to pharmacy end of the day and it’s not sent. Go to GP practice - it’s not done yet. Receive message just before pharmacy shuts - drag myself to pharmacy second time - they don’t have prescription. Drag myself back to gp practice already angry cause I’m in pain. Receptionist one with big blond hair and big lips very bossy basically treating me like I’m bothering them. No appology nothing. Treat me like scum and as I leave openly loughing at me. This is beyond any of my expectations. What can I say? Can I shout at them ? No cause someone will call police on me. I’ve been in pain with no medical management dragged out 2x in hottest day in incredible nerve pain shooting from my pelvis down to my foot just asking for simple apology at least - none acknowledges mistake they’ve made. And then just laughing as I leave. The most hurtful thing is that I can’t change practice I cannot afford private health care as my taxes payed should provide me with basic human rights of pain relief and comfort and then being laughed at. What is this world come to. At least someone would have said I’m sorry this has happened to you is there a way we can fix this. Nothing like that.

I would say the practice has gotten worse. I have done an online triage last week as they say "do not call them for an appointment", I never received a callback, then a week later I rang them and was told they have no record of the triage form, I should do an other one, and that is it. Receptions obviously doesn't care what the original call was for and whether it is now urgent having already waited a week.
In my previous interaction with them I needed a repeat prescription, which again they explicitly state can only be done online. After making the request online, I followed up and learned that actually that prescription requires an in person appointment. Can't understand why the online system wouldn't immediately flag it and say call and make an appointment, instead it just says wait at least 48 hours before making contact. If their online system is poor, which it is, then pushing patients to only ever interact with them through it is a really bad idea. Otherwise better than the other practises available.

A huge thank you to Lileth today for carrying out my blood test required from my DR. Lilleth went above and beyond and squeezed me into her hectic clinic.
After a hectic few days, Robert lifted my spirits with his words of wisdom.
Much appreciated. Thank you for all you do!
Great team!

I’ve been with Spring Hill for more than 15 years and seen the practice evolve. The service and care that they provide is remarkable - especially at this time when GPs are stretched to the limit, and given huge and diverse needs of this part of London. I look forward to their well-deserved move to their new premises.
