Many express trains between this airport and the city. Fewer shopping options than the other Tokyo airport, but still very comfortable and accommodating. Bathrooms are clean and large. There is breastfeeding room, baby's room with changing table x 2, one changing stalls for taller toddler that need their pull-up diapers changed, sink and hot water dispenser for formula. It's incredible how thoughtful Japanese are. Definitely a great place to visit, and flying to NRT is a good option!

Very smooth and quick process of checking in, security check and immigration. Very clean and organized airport with comfortable waiting areas. And if you missed Japanese McDonald’s in Japan, here is your last chance to try it! Loved the premier lounge with all kinds of cuisine
I used to like Haneda Airport more hut maybe I’ve gotten used to Narita already. It’s not confusing and it’s easy to navigate around the airport. Although there doesn’t seem to be much options for dining once you are past the immigration gate and at the boarding gates, or at least that was how it was for the international departures area I was at.

Truly One of the best airport in the world. A running track in the airport from terminal 2 to 3? That's amazing, currently themed with Pokémon. Fantastic observation decks and convenient stores. With all the restaurants there, it's a perfect introduction to Japanese cuisine.

Nice it had a play area for toddlers and kids before the flight. Not sure if it's air Canada or the airport but no priority boarding for families with kids under 2. There is a 711 there as well and always amazed they keep the prices the same. In North America they would have doubled the prices to get more money.

One of the best airports I have been to! This airport is always very clean and has many helpful amenities. There are a large variety of restaurants, luxury brand stores, and tax-free/duty-free souvenir shops within the airport. As well, the free wifi is a huge perk, and the ample number of charging ports/plugins at the seats near each gate make using electronic devices very easy. The bathrooms are very clean and high tech with motion sensing sinks, soap dispensers and hand dryers, as well as the classic Japanese bidet toilets. There are even small play areas for children, which is a great touch. I always enjoy being at this great airport.

Far away from Tokyo city and not very convenient for many reasons. First the airport for international departure is huge outside but once you enter the space after immigration, there is only one cafe with less choices of food. Only duty free shops are seen with less seating space around the shopping area. The boarding process was messy but the staff managed it well. Good viewing gallery on level 5 for taking pictures but again it is before you get your immigration done. There were news of long queues at the immigration always and hence we didn’t had much time to explore outside. Directions and signage was clear. Most of the people looked tired after traveling long to reach this airport and would have been good to have more food and cafe inside after immigration area. In future I will only touch and fly from Haneda airport which seems to have more stuff and easy to connect from the city. Not many hotels have direct coach connections to Narita but easier to have such transportation to Haneda Airport. The cost of coach bus can be as low as $15, train JR Rapid from Tokyo around $14 but taxi is killer of around $250 to $300. Hence carry medium sized checked in luggage to have easy travel by train anytime. It’s about 100km + distance from Tokyo towards north east side.
