First of all I want to say that Leonie, who helped with the hall hire, was absolutely amazing and a massive massive help. I can't be thankful enough for her help.
Hall was perfect for a wedding reception. Like I said, help with the hall hire was amazing. The hall is nice and new and as far as city halls go, very fancy. Parking securely underground was perfect. Excellent hall.
One significant trouble we did have was the environmental health team attempting to prevent us from having our wedding catered by a professional pizza caterer. We went through a multiple week long process to get permission. Small insignificant issues were raised such as using food trolleys to bring food from less than 10m away outside into the hall (up a set of steps). Being prevented from using a professional caterer with all the appropriate licenses and certificates was very problematic however we are grateful that we finally got permission. I was very disappointed with the health team's approach to our catering.

Such a great utilised space. With a fantastic library, doctors, a day care, iga, post office and lots more, with an adjoining oval and park.

Really a nice and beautiful place, however, the management is so weak. so be ready to pay an excessive rate for the beautiful look, but not the real venue.
No access was provided to us to go and check the kitchen facility prior to my booking time. I went to the center the night before as well. they charged me extra for the setup time, but we wasted all the time looking around for items.
No cutlery and plate are available, which is unusual especially when you book the kitchen.
The fridge was off, so turning it on the fridge 6 PM didn't help us a tall, I had to send my guests to buy Ice and buckets.
The kitchen has no Dishwasher, so be prepared to wash all the dishes by hand. DON'T FORGET to bring the dish washing liquid and sponge etc. Nothing was provided.

Hi, I'm Naz! I am commenting as a professional in the wedding industry. I had an amazing experience shooting at Manning Community Centre, which allowed us to captured some amazing photos and Manning Community Centre, just made the wedding reception remarkable.
The community centre is modern and pretty in design. The main function hall is wide enough for around 200 people. It has a clean kitchen and toilets.
There is also a free underground parking for the users of the hall, adding a convenient and secure parking.
