The was the first time I had the experience of enjoying Happy Wednesday and it was everything that it’s advertised of being; great fun crowds, ice cold beers 🍺 and thrilling horse races! If you get the chance to go don’t pass it up.

Must go on Happy Wednesday fun night not as crowded as I expected I missed booking The Gallery I suggest booking a couple weeks before travelling Awesome racecourse in a picturesque setting with the city buildings. The worst thing was that it was difficult to get an Uber back to the hotel.

The Wednesday horse race was simply superb and fantastic. Really enjoyed the array of drinks and finger foods served at the food stations. The crowd was awesome and vibrant too.

Entry fees is FREE for those carrying foreign passports.

Even if you are not a horse race fan, it is impossible not to enjoy visiting and having fun at Happy Valley Race Course. It is simply beautiful! Inserted in one of Hong Kong's most prominent areas, the site is surrounded by many, many skyscrappers, most of them, if not all, high-level residential buildings. Happy Valley is just a short walk from the hotel I stay in Hong Kong, in Causeway Bay.
I am one of the fortunate guys who is a friend of a racehorse owner, which allows me to have access to the owner's floor, at the top of the building, where there is a fantastic restaurant and a superb view of the racecourse, making it pleasant to follow all races, betting or not.

There is also the ground level where the course is, where most people gather to watch the races.

If you are in Hong Kong during horse race season, do not miss visiting. It is well worth the opportunity. Don't miss out.

Went there for the first time with friends. It was a fun experience. You can bet a low amount for like 20 to 50 hkd for fun. The atmosphere is electric and it's exciting to watch the race. You can have food, beer, wine and other drinks to make it even more fun.
