Manchester Airport Multi Storey T2 West

The reason I'm giving this car park 3☆ is because of the price! It is unreasonably expensive just to pick family/friends up from the airport. The same applies to drop off, which takes less than 5 mins. Unreasonable price. Other than that, I will just say it's convenient as there is nowhere else you can park.

Expensive car park but very secure.
ANPR entrance allowed access 10 min before booking time, no tickets required which was useful. Only spaces available on top floor. Otherwise when passing each floor 2 or 3 sign posted (I was not searching for those and moved on).
Access to T2 was through a tunnel and quick/easy. Upon return forgot car location but found quite quickly. Exit poorly labelled, plus signage upon exiting customs to it was poor.
Would use again if vouchers provided same level of discount.

Spaces feel tight, you're charged a fortune for the shortest of stays, there are always queues in and out due to the barriers always having issues, there are random concrete barriers whose only purpose seems to be in creating choke points idiots can stop in with all their luggage and then wonder why the rest of the world is angry at them.

About the only good thing I can say is it's within walking distance of the terminal.

My experience at Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Multi-Storey Car Park was generally good. The convenience of being in Terminal 2 is a plus, and the facility is well-maintained. However, it's worth noting that the ground floor can get crowded, which might make finding a space a bit challenging. The main downside was the high parking prices, which can be quite steep. Despite the cost, if convenience and proximity to Terminal 2 are a priority, it's an acceptable option for parking.

Lifts and escalators functional.
Effective public address system.

Lows

Limited stores
Lack of sophisticated technology to conduct search.
Manual and antiquated technology causing passengers undue stress and delays.
Officers clueless on what items should go or not in hand luggage.
Officers extremely aggressive dehumanising passengers in the process

Anytime you're using Manchester airport departures section, get the mindset of a terrible experience.

Yeah, I know it's not cheap, but to be honest, I'd pay the extra money to be right next to the terminal and not have to worry about if / or when the shuttle bus is going to turn up.
Number plate recognition means you drive straight in, and each floor tells you how many spaces are left on that floor.
Even though they should charge £25 per day for overstaying, they did waive this when (like the rest of Europe) we were delayed by 11 and half hours due to traffic control issues.

Car broken into and ransaked. Found after returned from Holiday not what you need at quarter past 4 in the morning. Door handle broken.
