I have been living at The Uptown for over 10 years, and it truly feels like home to me. I want to express my appreciation for Karen Matlock, who has made a significant impact on my experience here. She's always professional, pays attention to every detail, and truly cares about her job.
Every email I send receives a prompt and insightful response. Karen's expertise shines through in every interaction, and her commitment to her role is evident in the way she goes above and beyond to address any concerns I may have, even those that aren't directly under her purview.

My experience living at the UPTOWN has been a great one. My neighbors are very friendly and courteous. The security team is very reactive to our safety concerns. Making sure exits and entrances are secure. Service request are answered in a timely manner. Maintenance is professional and efficient.

I was looking for an apartment for my parents and am so fortunate to find such an amazing community in The Uptown. The apartment and amenities are first tier and beyond our expectations, but most importantly, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. I wanted to give a special shout-out to Mary, our leasing agent, for making my parents feel so at home in the leasing process.

I’ve been here 14 years and the last 12 years have been HELL!!! The management is horrible and the property has not been kept up for 8 years, homeless people camp at the property in the community court yard, car’s broken into broken windows dogs and human po po” all around the property

The people here are so welcoming and kind 🥰 Karen has help me and she’s so nice and helpful:) I really love my new place…

This place was horrible. As a “luxury” apartment I expected more… if I could give it 0 stars I would. I only lived here for 6months and that was still too much time there. 1. My door wasn’t flushed with the ground so bugs could get in. 2. The surrounding sounds are so loud and there’s always so much noise with dirties circle the apartment ever weekend. 3. The staff is rude! They have so much attitude and are so unprofessional. Like probably the worst I have ever experienced. 4. The rent was stupid high for a horrible area and jumps even HIGHER after your lease. 5. Elevators are so slow and down a lot. 6. Cars are still broken into.. even if inside the lot that you pay $150/month per car. 7. The staff ALWAYS lose your packages and it’s such a hassle to find. 8. THE CLEANING FEES ARE SO HIGH WHEN U MOVE OUT. Regardless how clean your left it… they have a STANDARD rate for cleaning and fees… which cost me an extra $840… so if you think you’re getting you’re security deposit back… be disappointed. 9 & 10: THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE. Seriously so rude. They get upset at you for doing their job… it’s ridiculous and so annoying. Do not move here whatsoever! So many people moved out because this place actually sucks! That’s why they’re offering 10 weeks free.. you’re better off living in Berkeley or SF at this point. Worst apartment ever lived in.

At The Uptown we found everything we were looking for, the staff is wonderful, from the cleaning staff, maintenance, security, lease and the manager. They have always been helpful to everyone I have asked for help. The place looks extraordinary. Every day the staff goes out of their way to keep everything running smoothly. I tell my friends that everyone should move to this property. This is paradise! Everything is impeccable. Thank you uptown team
