Ora Oakland

I have been living at Ora for over 2 years now. I must say that I love the location. It is within walking distance of a lot of great places. This part of the town is quiet. The grounds are well kept. The common areas are always clean and decorated.
I love the attention that the staff always give to the residents. They are always pleasant and carry large smiles. I must shout out Juan and Kelly. They both take their time to get to know each resident. Kelly is a great property manager by dealing with all the issues that occur on the property and the residents within. She is kind, friendly, and goes out of her way to resolve any issues that anyone may have. Juan is an exceptional maintenance person. I have had a few minor issues with my apartment, and he resolves them within a day or two. He always communicates with me on any issue and I am never left in the dark. Highly recommend this place to others.

I have been looking for apartments in downtown Oakland and have visited several of them. But I chose Ora because the location is very good, near Lake Merritt, in a quiet neighborhood; but what impressed me most about Ora, apart from the cleanliness, the beautiful building, and amenities, was the service provided by Kelly, the building manager. She is very kind, friendly and very professional; she makes you feel very comfortable and welcome when I took the tour, always with a smile; that's what I call excellent customer service. The apartment is very nice, lots of natural light and comes with all the modern household appliances, including a washing machine and dryer inside the unit. I highly recommend Ora without a doubt.

I've had only good experiences thus far. I moved in here a month ago and the management team (Kelley and Juan) have been responsive, very kind, and are quick to address any concerns I have had. The community is really nice and the location is hard to beat. The unit itself that I am leasing is well thought out and has a unique feel that is different from the cookie-cutter apartments that you may often find at other residential apartment buildings. I'd recommend touring Ora if you're interested at all in having your own cultivated space while also being central to all that Oakland has to offer.

I lived at Ora for just over two years before recently relocating out of the bay area. The building is in a convenient and pleasant location and the various room layouts make you feel like you're at home and not living in a glorified hotel room. The maintenance team was extremely responsive and receptive to all of my concerns and requests and the current property manager Kelly was very helpful with the entire move out process. They do a great job of making the building feel like a community and not a faceless corporate rent collecting entity.

I have been a resident here at Ora for several years, and I have enjoyed the location and atmosphere of the ‘building community.’ I am pleased to say that the location works for me (near an area park, Lake Merritt, and close to public transportation).

One downside is that we have experienced several leasing managers during my time here. I must say that Kelly is one of the better managers I’ve experienced. She welcomes feedback and works (with a smile) to meet the needs of the residents.

Now, please understand that every concern or request may not be ‘honored’; however. Kelly is honest, forthcoming, and willing to share insights about why. Her warm personality is one of the deciding factors for my remaining a tenant here at Ora Oakland.

Ora of Oakland is truly a diamond in the rough! Absolutely one of the nicest apartment complexes I've ever been in! They're exquisite, to say the least!

But my truly amazing experience came from Kelly, the property manager! She made my touring of Ora such a dynamic experience. She was so kind, so genuine so patient! She literally walked back and forth with me between 3 different apartments until I could decide which one I wanted! It was like hanging out with my girlfriend who was along to help me apartment shop! Just her personality and welcoming spirit put me at ease and allowed me to feel comfortable. I felt at home!

So glad I chose Ora to tour 1st because after touring Ora and meeting Kelly, I didn't need to go anywhere else!

Great building, great location. Comfy and spacious, and well laid out units. Property is clean, nice amenities, and quiet. Kelly was great at making sure the move in process was smooth and periodically checks in to make sure all is well. Maintenance is quick and responsive to issues that arise.
