Update****: not even a couple weeks after posting the original review, my A/C went out and my toilets keep clogging. šš¼
I really wanted to like this place. But now I find myself wanting to break my lease. And if I had the money now to do so, I would unfortunately. I came here after becoming a newly single mom looking for a nice place temporarily for me and my two kids. My first mistake was securing the apartment based on pictures but due to my schedule and time restraint to move, and not being from the area, I had no choice at the time. I got a 3 bedroom and Move in was easy. I was a little disappointed in the way the apartment was outdated and āfixed upā from the previous owners. The bathrooms look HORRIBLE. Like from early 2000s horrible. The fixtures were rusted over. The doorknobs to each room were different colors. Some gold, some silver. The caulking jobs in the bathroom and kitchen look like a child did it. It makes the place look tacky. The counters are probably from when this place was first built and are all scratched up. The vinyl flooring is nice but the kitchen has burn marks all in the floor. I had a screened in balcony that I thought came with a fan but the place where you connect one was capped off. But looking as I drive but, most have a fan. The closet door in the master bedroom doesnāt open and close easy and the light flickers in the closet as well. The carpet in the closets is different than the carpet in the bedrooms. The blinds on the door to the porch are missing a panel and the stick that opens and closes them was rigged and keeps falling off. I donāt know if I just got a bad unit or what. But Iāve lived in much nice placer for much less. Definitely not worth what I pay.
After a day of living in the apartment, I noticed my dryer was not putting out hot air. It was impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone, but I put in a maintence request and it was switched out the same day. I had to buy an upgraded parking spot. You pay for parking for each vehicle every month but there was never a spot remotely near my building by the time I got off work. Two months after living in the apartment I had an issue with my electricity. This is the point I started getting really upset. In the middle of the night my power went out but everyone elseās was still on. It was 11pm and I was worried I was going to lose all my food in the fridge. I called the on call maintence. He came out and rigged the electricity in my house to keep my fridge on because he didnāt know which main switch was mine outside (they had painted over the numbers). The next day the power flickered on. I guess they came by, saw the power was on and did nothing. The ticket I placed closed and said it was fixed. The power went off again that evening. It went off and on for 4 days. I kept being told someone was going to fix it. I got mad the last time it went off and went up to the office. Magically they finally had a guy show up hours later to fix the actual problem.
I had a large package not delivered (that I needed that day) that would not deliver because there were bikes and toys blocking the entrance of my apartment building. This has been an issue as I have a garage parking spot that kids constantly leave toys and bikes on and I have to go and remove them before I can park.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone in the office by phone!!!!!!! Thatās a problem for me. Itās all texting or you can walk up to the office during office hours.
Iāve been here about 4 months and now have a leak in my wall I have to put a work order in for which prompted me to write this review. Every month I have something new. Itās going to be a looonnnggg year of living here as I am in a 15 month lease. If they are going to make someone live in such a small, outdated place, I feel the price needs to match.
If you are looking at coming here definitely come tour first. I would not have signed the lease for this place had I known it was in such poor condition. It was between this place and a place in lake Nona and I highly regret not spending $250 extra

Donāt waste your money or time applying here. The leasing office is not responsible for any online application problems and getting in contact with UDR is impossible. The representatives never called back when they said they would and never responded to calls, everything was by text. They never sent us a follow-up email to submit the required documents and all attempts to reach staff was unsuccessful. Their poor customer service ultimately resulted in our application being discarded and loss of time and money.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. My daughter has lived here for 8 months and the AC has gone out multiple times. When we contact maintenance they say itās not considered an emergency and to open the windows. We pay over $2000 a month for JUNK and awful customer service!! STAY AWAY and DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I love it here. This coming September will be 14 years of living here. The rent and the amenities fees are getting way too high. Might be moving next year.

Very overpriced place. Charges for everything. When I moved in the apartment was not renovated, the carpet wasnt clean, the washer didnt work properly. Took 3 weeks to get my mailbox keys fixed. The management doesnt give a damn about thier tenants. Evicted me and my daughter 4 days before Christmas. Very heartless and don't answer the phones to speak like a human being. Everything is done thru text messages. I don't like how I was treated at all!

The only reason I put 4 stars & not 5 is just simply because of the rent, this is definitely not a place to move into for students ESPECIALLY if itās your first time renting. Now one thing I can genuinely say about this place is the staff is amazing. Iāve really only spoke with a handful of them at the front office but they have always had the best attitude with me and always make sure my needs are met. I made a complaint last week about a minor roach problem and they took care of it as soon as possible. I also put in a maintenance request for my A/C leakage & they came that same day and fixed it. Honestly was shocked at all the bad reviews considering all the staff here that iāve encountered, have been nothing but helpful!

This place charges fees for every thing. Leaving mail in mailbox, guest parking, $50/month trash,
$100 for key fob to get into the apartment gate. Terrible management. People in front office are very rude. Maintenance does not do their job and takes days to answer requests. No emergency maintenance. Do NOT move here. If you can afford it move to The Rexford next door they are much nicer.
