It's just a simple walk, simple bridge, but the scenery, the river, the city, very beautiful in the morning or evening.
Neat, clean, and fresh air, food for your mind.

A more chill option for sightseeing in the area! If you're near Asakusa, this is the perfect route to take and visit the Tokyo Skytree. About 15-20 minutes from Senso-ji.
You can see many boats along the river and the subway rumbles across above you as you walk. The scenery is calming. Lots of bird watching here too! I was lucky enough to see a crane.

Amazing views and a very nice walk to Asakusa from Tokyo Tower.

So pretty during cherry blossom season. Absolutely loved walking along here. I wish I'd had a padlock to hang.

The walk alongside the canal from Skytree to Asakusa is really quite beautiful. It ends with crossing Sumida river via Sumida River Walk. You can spot trains from below, ships from above, the other bridges from afar, and Skytree! Especially beautiful at night. It's a nice stroll from Skytree to Asakusa! Walk this route instead of taking the train.

Nice romantic river walk bridge. Good route for sightseeing. Middle of bridge have many pad locks for symbols of lover.

Until recently, the 東武花川戸鉄道橋 Tobu Hanakawado Railway Bridge was for trains only. No pedestrians.
However, sometime during the pandemic, a pedestrian walkway was added to the bridge. There is even a section of glass floor along the walkway. A bit noisy when a train is leaving or arriving at the Tobu Asakusa Station.
On the East side of the Sumida River, there are a couple of blocks of new establishments under the train tracks. The Naruto Beya Sumo Stables are located along this new development.
