Kendyl has been an amazing throughout the move-in process. The facilities here are amazing and has been one of the best apartments I have seen so far living in America. Thank you!

It has been such a pleasure to work with this apartment complex! they have made my move and other transitions seamless! If you decide to tour the Alton as your potential next home, I’d highly recommend asking for Samuel. he is such a well informed, enthusiastic agent!

Don’t move here. A residents car was broken into in the garage and home. Homeless people are everywhere and sleep in the stairwells. JR, the building manager, pretends to care about residents and doesn’t. He never addresses any issues. The walls are paper thin so you always hear your neighbors. You’ll never get a decent nights rest. People’s animals piss in the entry way for you to walk in. Gross! The list goes on….

Absolutely loved living here! Management does a fantastic job keeping the property in top condition. Neighbors are friendly and the building is nice and quiet. Apartments are high-end. Would not have moved except that it was time for more space (a house). Thank you to The Alton!!!

Samuel was excellent guiding me around the luxurious property. Quite knowledgeable about everything on site. He was able to answer all of my questions and I signed immediately. The willingness to go the extra step to make sure all of my personalized needs were met- absolutely astounding! Thank you so so much! HIGHLY recommend. Fifty Stars!

I have lived at The Alton for a little over a year and I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to only to commemorate the Assistant Property Manager Samuel. He is an absolute gem and made living here a million times better. I have had some ups and downs with this property, but Samuel was always eager to help. I work in property management as well and have never met a more qualified and talented worker than him!

Updated Review:

Living at The Alton has been a rollercoaster, marked by both notable frustrations and effective resolutions led by JR, the building manager. Early challenges after moving in May 2022 included complaints from downstairs neighbors, stolen packages, and a non-functional A/C. Despite taking three months and multiple requests, these issues were eventually addressed with commendable responsiveness by JR, showcasing his ability to act effectively once informed.

However, a recent severe water leak revealed a series of inadequate responses. Efforts to manage this included installing a disruptive dehumidifier and offering unsatisfactory housing alternatives. The initial solutions fell short of expectations. However, after discussing directly with JR, he facilitated additional options and covered the expenses of packing and moving to a new unit.

Since overcoming the initial move-in and water leak challenges, JR and the leasing staff have been responsive and helpful. Kendall has gone above and beyond, such as assisting with a furniture delivery in my absence when my flight was unexpectedly delayed. Liz helped with identifying and showing alternative units after the flood. While there are occasional issues like pet feces and a Christmas Day incident in the elevator, communal living inevitably presents some challenges.

In summary, although The Alton exhibits effective management, potential tenants should be mindful of the ongoing challenges and potential disruptions inherent in communal living.
