56 Brewing

We had our wedding reception at 56 and had an awesome experience! The event coordinator was very responsive and super easy to work with. The staff overall was always really friendly and helpful. Our guests loved the space and we lucked out with a nice day, so we were able to use the indoor and outdoor space to its full potential. We've definitely become big fans of 56 and highly recommend for large events!

Fantastic tap room with classic video games and pinball. Vast indoor space and quaint patio. Great beers on tap. I'm partial to the sours. Blake is a top notch bar tender and knowledgeable about the beers. We'll be back soon!

Delicious brews, wonderful dog friendly patio overlooking a community garden and a solid selection of new pinball machines. The quality of surly with the chill attitude of indeed.

Cool spot. Decent beer. Bunch of pinball machines (they were having a pinball tournament when I stopped by). Multiple levels, lots of room outside. Looks like there's usually a food truck on the premises.

This place is amazing the beers are seriously so damn perfect and make sure you grab the Vanlice Lemonade while you’re here too!

Yet another fine small brewery in Nordeast Minneapolis!

Nicely located near Broken Clock Brewery, Forgotten Star Brewery, Fair State Brewery amongst many others in Nordeast, 56 brewing is another nice addition to my personal brewery tours!

The building is nestled into trees, and has a very large parking lot. There's a smallish deck area, and the building itself appears to have been an automobile repair shop? Maybe. In any case, the interior space is modern brewery, with lots of nice touches including a wall of wooden kegs, pinball games, MN wooden artwork on the wall, and a small 2nd floor balcony to sit and drink on.

I sampled several beers, and loved the "infused Passionfruit Super Sour", which packed a nice fruited punch along with a clean Berliner Weisse backbone. I then moved on to one of their standards, the "Raspberry Sour Ale" - low IBU, tart and crisp. Really good!

I give 5 stars for the easy parking, nice vibe inside, good and broad beer selection, and nice staff.

Another brewery stop for me when I head up to NordEast!

just moved into the area so my wife and I decided to give 56 brewing a try and buy were we sure happy we did! really nice place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. they have a solid food truck rotation. dog friendly. the beer is great, really good selections and everything we tried was tasty. staff was super friendly as well! this will be a regular stop for us and think you should too!
