My wife and I have been trying to find local theater when we travel into a new area. Acadia Repertory Theater was a great find during our stay in Ellsworth, ME. Had an opportunity to interact with several of the Actors prior to the performance. The venue very welcoming and not a bad seat in the house. We truly enjoyed ourselves during a performance of Agatha Christie's The Mouse Trap. We will definitely make a effort to see what's playing the next time we're nearby.

We saw love and baseball during our visit to Maine here, what a wonderful production! David Blaise, Valarie Falkan and the entire crew did such an amazing job! We'll be back here to see another show for our next visit.

We really enjoyed this show. We've attended many of their plays over the years and this is our favorite so far.

We throughly enjoyed the mesmerizing performance of Kenneth Stack in Clarence Darrow and highly recommend the play and the quaint venue. Thanks to all associated with this moving production.

Attended a show this summer: lovely little venue and it was an enjoyable production. 5 stars.
The COVID theatrics — in the summer of 2022 — were quite ridiculous unfortunately. With no regard for vaccine status and despite saying on their website that they followed Broadway’s current guidelines, the theater required ineffective cloth masking at a time where there was 1) little to no spread in that area of rural Maine, and 2) it had no longer been required, for weeks, in NYC on Broadway. 1 star.
So, 3 stars it is!

Great local theater! We get tickets for whatever they are showing whenever we have been in the area....which has been pretty frequently. We saw Fully Committed, which was wonderful! It was performed as a one woman show, and the performance was terrific. Highy recommended. We have never been disappointed in anything we have seen over the last 30+ years going to the area.

5-Star Local theater with some well rehearsed actors/actresses and good+ directors. In fact, if you have time to go see the current show "Perfect Wedding" do so (we sat in the 2nd row tonight and the cast did a great+ job, they've obviously practiced+ and so worth it to see them all share their skills).
