YOU SHOULD GO THERE AT NIGHT! If you go in the morning in my opinion it's wasted money but if you go in the evening you can probably have the best view of London. It's not cheap, because it's 40£, (+16£ if you add a cup of champagne) but I leave the photo here so you can see for yourself! Ahhh don't say this to anyone...I really think you have to go in the toilet, it will probably be the best moment 😉, the view is amazing!

Is it super expensive? YES. Is it all it's hyped up to be? Also yes, provided you go on a day with good weather. Everything up there is as fancy as you expect, with prices to match, but still a worthwhile experience if you're visiting London.

They have the fastest and highest lift in the UK, guaranteed to make your ears pop on your way up and down.

After reading some horror stories about the wait times at the London Eye & a recommendation from a friend, I took my kids here instead. We booked the first scheduled entry time, so we went up at opening time.

The views were SPECTACULAR & the staff (particularly Chris, the London expert) were all lovely.

No regrets choosing The Shard over the Eye.

Wow, amazing view you get from the top. It's very easily accessible, you get 2 lifts which takes you almost to the top and either one more or stairs to get right to the top. There are 2 bars and you can get food and icecream, cakes at the top. These are all very expensive as you would expect! Weekdays are the best time to visit.

A Breathtaking Experience at The Shard, London

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of visiting The Shard in London this past Friday, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. The Shard, with its iconic, glass-clad pyramidal tower, is a sight to behold from the ground. But the real magic happens when you ascend to its viewing platform.

The view from The Shard is nothing short of spectacular. The 360-degree, panoramic view of London is breathtaking. From the bustling streets of the city to the winding Thames River, the view encapsulates the heart and soul of London in a way no other viewpoint can. It's a sight that truly makes you appreciate the beauty and scale of the city.

But what truly sets The Shard apart is not just its view, but also its service. The staff were courteous and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. They were quick to answer questions and cater to needs, making sure that every moment spent at The Shard was comfortable and enjoyable.

In conclusion, a visit to The Shard is more than just a tourist activity; it's an experience that leaves you with a newfound appreciation for London. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend making the trip up this iconic building for an unforgettable view and exceptional service.

Whenever in London I will always make an effort to go up the Shard. The views are amazing just make sure you go when the weather is clear and you will be able to see for miles. Two levels you can explore. The enclosed level offers 360 degree views and somewhere to buy drinks alcoholic and coffee etc. Although don't expect it to be cheap. The upper level again offers 360 degree views and it's also open to the elements. Very exciting.

If you are thinking of seeing London from up high, you will not regret go to the Shard. We booked our tickets in advance and we skipped the long queue. It’s the highest building and the view is breathtaking. Not to mention if you stay for a bit and will catch the talk about bridges in London and the Thames. It’s really fun and informative. We had lovely experience here.
