Qaato African Restaurant

I called in to asked if they had jollof rice because its not available on Uber eats she said its not on there because its not ready and I asked her how long will it be she said 30 minutes it took 2 hours for it to be available then I noticed it still wasn’t available on Uber eats and I called back she said its not on there because its not on there, not a valid answer I’ll just assume she doesn’t know how to work the APP and she’s very RUDE kept hanging up the phone and I rather drive all the way to the south side african restaurant than to deal with this

I love love this place, I get their joliff rice dinners( goat, chicken and fish) all the time and it's absolutely perfect even when I get something extra to try for the first time it's good. Definitely enjoying the food there.

I love the food but they treat me as Black African Americans rude. Even when I order my food ahead of time.
I have been there 3 times and it's always the same nasty attitude towards me.

It's not my fault my African family was brought to America as slave.

Delicious food slow service. Worth the wait. Not the best looking place to eat. They could use a makeover.

Ordered take out. Rice was spicy, decent the goat meat tough AF and definitely not fresh cooked. My son had the chicken and jollof. The chicken was not fried like the picture. None of the food looked like pictures. Not only that but who eats cooked chicken skin?! It also wasn't freshly cooked. I'm not a pro at African food but I can guarantee this ain't it. PS all the food smelled like fish. Yeah, it will be forever before I try African food again.

They charge 3$ extra per plate if you paying with card, no dine in, I also had to wait for an hour to get my food. Nigerians will always act like Nigerians SMH

I won't be ordering from this restaurant. I've ordered from this place about 5 times on Ubereats, after accepting the order this restaurant have cancelled 4 times and only delivered once.

What you see on Ubereats is not what they actually have, you have to call them to confirm ( crazy right?). Then the lady that picks up the phone is so rude that you'll think she's doing you a favour.

Thankfully there are at least 3 other Nigerian restaurants that sell similar meals (not mentioning names), I called one of them and they were so professional, they said whatever I see on Ubereats is correct.

Do better Qaato, your service is very poor, tueh!
