Spring Tavern Ewell

On a very busy day (Father’s Day) service was exceptional (thanks to Jason and Dylan). Food was all presented beautifully and tasted amazing. We enjoyed roasts (duo of beef and trio). Both large portions but one person versus sharing. All cooked to perfection! Impressed how speedy service was given how busy you were too. We then enjoyed after dinner drinks in the beer garden. A fabulous visit. Thank you!

The food was delicious...I had the pork with scallops..we didn't pre book so ate in the pub which was beautiful...dogs are allowed..the outside seating was lovely but unfortunately the weather wasn't. I think it will be lovely outside on a sunny day but would advise booking in advance. We ordered at the bar service was good we didn't wait long for the food.

Reasonable price for good food, attentive friendly staff, happy to move my table, checked all was OK. Turned a bad day round. Truffle cheese bites were top notch!

Very good restaurant. Large dining area which is deceptive as there are cozy corners. Plus a bar eating area which is dog friendly. Upmarket all day menu as well as more ordinary fare under the lunchtime menu. Very good food. Well presented. Sensible portions. Delicious. All very clean, as well as clean facilities....though a couple of steep steps up to the toilets. The staff were busy but friendly, polite and food arrived hot and in reasonable time. It has a good reputation and I can see why. The main menu prices are middling expensive, but given the atmosphere, location and quality of food, it's worth it. I recommend a visit !

Sunday roast lunch was nice, could have done with more flavour than it would have been full stars.

We absolutely love everything at The Spring Tavern, Luke the manager and his assistant manager Joseph and their team make you feel so welcome. The pub is cosy, clean and the food is excellent.

We actually came across this gem by chance. After a long day out visiting Chessington World of Adventures the family and I were on our way to a local McDonald’s drive thru and just happened to pass by.

Goes without saying this is a truly unique restaurant with lovely art deco and elegant decor on the walls. Well thought out layout!

Being vegetarian the food was excellent, especially the plant based burger being a favourite 🍔

I can imagine on the weekend this place being packed to capacity; so get in early as i believe there’s only a few parking spaces on site.

Honestly… I can say it was the perfect experience, I would come back. Even though live 53 miles away! Try the Mac n cheese starter, it was amazing and a firm staff favourite. Here’s a few photos I captured, enjoy!
