Nambucca River Tourist Park

This was our 2nd stay at Nambucca River tourist park. Both times in the on site cabins. The cabins are a Little dated, but clean and comfortable and suited our 3 night stay very well. Staff are great and very helpful. We will defiantly stay again..

Did not get to stay arrived just after 1700 reception was closed, phone the contact number on door was told park was closed no check in.

Es un asilo practicamente, caro! Very expensive caravan park. The cabins are no good for the 170$ the night.

Great location on the main river with boat access and fishing right at the gate. Small park but with playground, putt putt, pool, giant chess, large camp kitchen. Only down side was the amenities block. The old larger block was in the area of the permanent vans and the small block near the holiday campers constantly blocked and unable to use. A new block is being built so will improve then I'm sure. Overall it is a great park and we will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for budget accommodation, it’s ok. I’d recommend taking your own toilet rolls and toiletries because asking for a refill of 20ml body wash after 4 nights and a toilet roll was incredibly uncomfortable from the reaction of the staff member who said they would not normally do “this” after 4 days.
With the exception of one, the staff were friendly and great.
The rooms are unfathomably hot, the sliding door to the bathroom kept getting stuck and wouldn’t open from the inside and I had to call my son to help open it a few times.
The BBQs and camp kitchen are great and there’s good access to the pontoon for fishing.
There’s nice wildlife around with water dragons, birds and ducks. The pool is great for kids with fencing and great seating around.

We called just before closing as we had broken down while towing our caravan. Karen was amazing, got us a site and left the instructions in the night time mail box. Luckily we got running again and made it to the park. We found it to be clean, very well appointed and the showers where hot.

We came in late so didn't get to use the kitchen but from what I could see its a very good space that a bunch of people can use at the same time.

Look forward to coming back for a holiday.

Stayed here in my caravan over Easter - what a peaceful and beautiful little tourist park. Awesome free activities for the kids inc mini golf, giant chess, pool with great shallow area for the little ones, rec room with pool table, table tennis, air hockey (out of action at the moment), bookshelves, giant tenpin, dolls house, chalkboard - almost too much to list. Great playground and camp kitchen and facilities. Only negative is that the amenities block is a good distance from caravan & camping sites and is central to the cabins and lifestyle village, must have been the old caravan park area. Loved it, was meant to stay 3 nights extended to a week. I’ve been travelling full time for a year and it’s in my top 10.
