The Steakhouse New Orleans

Hate I didn’t get a pic of salads and shrimp cocktail! Everything was delicious with the exception of the Brussels sprouts weren’t quite tender enough but was very flavorful. Steak and drinks were great!

Ordered the filet mignon, asparagus and baked potato for room service. Didn't wait too long for the food which was great given it was room service. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and everything else tasted great.

Think this restaurant has a chance to rebuild its poor rating if they keep this up.

The only drawback were the prices. After taxes, auto 18% gratuity and service fees it racked up to 112 for steak and common sides. It was room service and i suppose these are the prices youd see at any typical hotel restaurant.

So overall it was good.

Service was kind of hilarious. Our table guests asked how big the baked potato was for sharing purposes - Our blank-eyed monotone server said “It’s a regular sized potato.” Later we asked if the chocolate cake was big enough to share for dessert. She doubled down and said, “It’s a regular sized slice of cake.” We couldn’t stop laughing and still laugh about it today. Luckily the steak was a 7/10 or so.

Flavorful and delicious food! Challenging to find if you don’t already know where it is. The door looks like a wall (see pic) so you wouldn’t think it’s the door to this hidden steakhouse. Overall ambiance was great, food was delicious!

Decided to dine in for a birthday dinner with a party of 4. The waitress came to the table to introduce herself, but she seemed a little stressed or worried, hence the 4 stars. I understand we all go through things, but emotions should not be present in a professional environment. By the end of the dining experience she did have a change in mood, but it should have been that way from start. On the other hand, The food was really good and was hot upon arrival to the table. The drinks were also really good. I received complaints about the chargrilled oysters being a little too small, but the taste was good. Like many other reviews, the asparagus was really good. It complimented the steak really well. The drizzle sauce has a nice kick to it which enhanced the flavor. The brussel sprouts were good as well. Overall the dining experience was really good with the exception of the aforementioned demeanor of the waitress. Once she changed her mood everything was quite pleasant. Finally, a big thank you for the birthday dessert. It was really good, and much appreciated. I would recommend the restaurant for your dining needs.

Best asparagus I've ever had. Each one was the size of a baby's arm. Oysters were great and the steak was phenomenal.

The Donut Sundae was one of the best desserts I have had in a while. NY Strip was great however the $160 Wagyu Ribeye was not quite worth the price. The pork belly and lobster pasta were also very good. Service was excellent and overall the meal was quite good.
