Would like to say how great the service provided by Mr Noor Islam is! Definitely needs to be made a permanent service at the practice!

I am really disappointed since this practice has changed hands,as much as some of the staff are really nice people, the practice manager being one, I don’t feel as positive about the doctors.
My partner who recently had blood tests found out that he needed folic acid, by accident, after looking at his Nhs app for something completely different, not only didn’t the practice inform him of this, when he told them them, he was just told to get folic acid over the counter, the strength of folic acid needed can only be prescribed and not bought over the counter also not informed why he actually needed folic acid
It was also discovered that he was borderline diabetic, no follow up appointment or any real information how to deal with his diagnosis.
This is just an example of how they are not getting the basics right at this practice. I have many more examples over the last few months.
Now in the process of finding a new practice for myself and family.

If Google allowed no stars that's what I would have chosen. This is the worst surgery I've ever had the unfortunate experience of becoming one of their patients for, for a short 5 months.
Firstly, I'm bedbound and they were told this yet I had to visit the surgery for my initial medication review with the pharmacist.
I was advised by the Nurse that to receive home visits this would need to be decided by the doctors!
Their poorly designed and built disabled access should have made me realise these were not disabled friendly people, the wheelchair could not be turned to get in the door as the ramp was not made wide enough for turning wheels. It was also very narrow in the corridors leading to the clinic rooms and that was a very stressful event.
S Abdi and N Abdi are awful and don't deserve the title of GP or Dr as both were very rushed with me and would interrupt me and contradict what I was saying, believing that what they had to advise (against the NICE guidelines for my illness) was the better route.
S Abdi hung up on me before I had chance to get what I needed, just at 10 minutes before surgery closes!
This in itself caused a bad stress reaction and I was in a lot of distress that triggered my pain and discomfort all night long and my husband had to call 999, and all because S Abdi didn't give me chance to finish what I was asking for. He said he was not prepared to talk to me after I said to him when he interrupted me, that I was still talking then.
My health had deteriorated so much in those 5 months that I had no other option but to change surgeries yet again.
If I wasn't so unwell because of this surgery and it's poor management of me I would make a formal complaint (still have time so maybe!).

I’ve been with this practice for over 40 years. The reception staff are brilliant. However, the worse thing happened when Dr Barba left. He was a great asset to the surgery and the best GP I have ever been treated by there. What a shame he retired. Although the staff at reception and the nurse practitioners are brilliant, I can’t say the same about the remaining GP’s.

All the staff are wonderful. I have no idea whatsoever why there are negative reviews. I have never had a problem making an appointment. I have never experienced anything less than total professionalism by all the staff both reception and medical. I transferred to this practice when my previous one closed when I was a child. 40yrs with this practice and never once have I considered changing or even experienced any problems. Working in the NHS is extremely challenging for a multitude of reasons and all the staff at DLMC are amazing.
Highly recommended.

Called in today because I was late ordering my repeat prescription, my own fault. I had to leave for London and it wouldn’t be ready. The lady on reception was really helpful and rerouted my prescription to a chemist near my hotel in London.
Arrived at 5.30pm at the chemist and it was ready. Thank you as a few days without my meds would have been awful.

I would just like to take an opportunity to say what a credit Doctor Barba is to this practise.
He is literally the best doctor I’ve had since I can remember. He is very caring and has put my little boy Louie as a top priority anytime he has been poorly.
Even visiting us both at home when we both recently tested positive for Covid to make sure we were both doing okay.
Thank you so much for always treating Louie very quickly and putting my mind at ease during these times.
Kindest regards.
Paula Lee.
