My sister and I were having a very difficult time with my mom. It became impossible to care for her. She was leaving the house, would not change her clothes or shower. I got help from a Place for Mom, who gave me some suggestions. There was something about Rosewood On the Sound that drew my attention. My sister and brother-in-law went to see it. They were very impressed with the place and staff. My mom has been there since August of 2022. We are so happy with her care. The staff are wonderful and you can see that everyone is happy. Rosewood is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a safe place for their loved one.

My mother has been at this facility for a couple months now, and I can honestly say it was the best decision ever. From the 1st day of the tour, the administrator made me feel so welcomed. It felt at home, and to top it off my mom made friends during the tour. My mother ended up staying for lunch and didn’t want to leave. The room we have is spacious with its own bathroom, the staff has been so cooperative and communicating with me constantly since i have been away. I will definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

In the short time my grandmother was there, she wasn't a fan. Around early august she was complaining of stomach/abdominal pain. (She had a colostomy) In august she was transported to the hospital. They did a CT scan and they told her everything was fine. The pain didn't go away. Around noon on august 22nd I had a nurse (or an aid or whatever she was, they don't have medical staff there a very often) called me and addressed me in the rudest way possible, to tell me my grandmother was MAKING herself throw up and she had thrown herself on the floor, so they HAD to take her to the hospital. She spoke to me as if it was directly my fault. My grandmother passed away that evening. She wasn't making herself throw up, her bowel was ruptured and she was bleeding internally. She threw herself on the floor so that she could go back to the hospital because no one would listen to her. Of course once they found out she had passed, I got a call from someone in a very "sweet" tone. Of course their sincerity was fake. I would NEVER in a million years suggest this place to anyone looking for facilities for their loved ones. They will be rude, not take your loved one seriously & the worst may happen. It happened to me.

My Aunt is at Rosewood and just loves it. The staff is great and very helpful. The place is kept very clean. The activities are amazing. They keep all the people living there active. I highly recommend Rosewood on the Sound.

My Uncle was at “Rosewood on the sound” for about 3 months.
He was very happy with the service he got and even loved the food! The people who took care of him were very attentive, respectful and had wonderful dispositions. And they respected the family's desire to review any recommendations for her care before a decision was made. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone as a result of our personal collective experiences.
