For the Halloween season the page said that it closed at 1 am, but when we arrived at 11:20 pm they didn’t let us enter because they actually closed at 12. We drove 40 min for nothing.

The place is decorated nice, had a great time until my 2 and 3 yr old sent into the arcade. The bracelets we had didnt include but after only a few minutes of being in the area gertrude the game enforcer kept badgering my family about we have to pay. My 3 year old was sitting at the arcade console (watching the screen) and ester the prison guard hounded us to leave. My 3 yr old left kicking and screaming because he couldnt look at the games.

This was pricey for what it is.

There are 2 "houses" the scary clown fun/mirror house converted to be Santa Toy factory and a trail outside with about 20 Christmas trees lit up.
The lady at the door said we could only go on the Santa Toy walk through once, despite there being no line at all. The manager eventually came over and gave us the go ahead to go through again.

There was also ice skating included in the ticket, which helps a little bit, but anything else cost more.

Want to see their creepy, dead eye Santa meant for Kids? That will be more. Honestly the Santa was the clincher, he was weird! My son was telling him what he wanted and he just laughed out a "ho ho ho".

Want to throw some AX's? That will be more. (Yeah kids can throw some ax's. We didn't partake.

It's a long drive for whole lot of nothing. The payoff would be enhanced if they treated it similar to the adult stuff by using more houses or giving more diverse themes.

Their Adult haunted houses are much better.

It's not worth the money. My husband & I took our son and there was barely anything to do. I know it's winter so not everything can be open but they could have set up a couple more things or opened 1 more attraction for kids. The arcade was also out of service so they made everything free play, but no prize tickets. The whole place seems like a traveling attraction that was lazily put together.

Went for winterwonderland and it was horrible! I wish Google would let you put ZERO stars! They have something called "fun house" thats not fun , existing or even safe! We got there at 3pm and were in the car and driving back home within 40 mins. I reached out to the manager or owner Donald, just explaining how miserable time we had with our 2 year old. There was nothing to do for a 2 year old! Nothing!!!!! Yet he refused to refund the adults tickets we had to purchase to enter the facility. Its a scam! Not worth it and no wonder it was dead...i should have read reciews prior to....horrible place, and money hungry facility.
Just so your aware...the winterwonderland tickets only get you in, you have to purchase additinal tickets for seeing Santa, Ice skating, arcade or anything else!
1st time visit. I truly enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend a visit.

If it were possible to give this place and event no stars I would. My family and I went to the Shipwreck Tavern to celebrate the New Year’s eve family dinner. We arrived at approximately 6:05 PM where we were led to our table that had our name on a card. On the tables were happy new year paraphernalia and balloons floating in the ceiling. We sat at our table until approximately 6:53 PM before a waiter finally came over to take order. By this time I was fuming mainly because the waiter who serve the food pass by our table several times and finally noticing that we were not served or greeted which customarily happens within the first few minutes of being seated in every restaurant that you go to. He seemed shocked and said OK I’ll take your order now. We graciously invited him to finish what he was doing as he was in the middle of picking up other customers appetizer plates. After placing our entire dinner order, from appetizer to desert, we waited approximately 15 minutes before we actually received our appetizers. We placed our entire order because we had a proximately one hour to eat before the time was up. We verified with the waiter that the event ended at 8 o’clock to which he promptly responded yes. Clearly, there was no consideration of the fact that we waited almost a full hour before we were even greeted by a waiter to take our order. The food at best could be described as bland. Our daughter clearly enjoyed her chicken fingers and fries. I ordered the fish and fries and my wife ordered the chicken Parmesan with pasta. The chicken Parmesan was horrible. You could easily separate the Parmesan cheese from the chicken which my wife eventually did. The fish and fries was at best blind while the tartar sauce had very little or no taste. For our desert, we ordered the cheesecake which had a very funny aftertaste. The cheesecake lacked the creaminess that is customary with cheesecakes that you eat anywhere else. In addition, it had a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Overall, for the money that we paid for this event it was not worth it at all. At no time at all should anyone have to wait almost an hour for a waiter to come over and take your order. We were not the only ones to experience this as another family not sitting far from inquired of the waiter at least three times the status of their main course. In conclusion, I do not recommend this event for New Year’s eve celebration.
