Friendly staff, decent pro shop, but the course itself is in DESPERATE need of TLC. Absolutely no excuse for the greens to look like this at the end of June (played 6/23/2024) for the amount they charge. Played this course last year as well after moderate rain the day before, and the drainage is atrocious! Thought I hit one of my drives into the middle of a lake, turned out to be the middle of the fairway. Sorry to say, I won't be back.

This course is awful. Worst greens i have ever seen and they do not keep it maintained. I paid $65 and this course should be $20 to play thats how bad it is

I'm really sick of this Golf course, have had a broken windshield on my Subaru. Dented hood on my truck , today 6/19/24 find another golf ball and a huge dent on the roof of my Fiances Subaru. I've spoken with the general manager Robert S. there to get the run around multiple times. No call backs, sent emails with information that he requested. They wont cover or pay for any damages. I literally collect golf balls off my street and lawn daily from the inexperienced people that play there, launching golf balls at the 11th and 12th holes. I recommended adding a net back there, like many other well kept golf courses I've seen in the area. The reviews at this place speak for themselves.

Genuinely the worst course I have played. I payed $60 to play + a cart. The course is horribly kept, if youre thinking of playing here, don’t do it.

Tried playing here a few times recently... Even though it can be as cheap as $20 to play 9 holes, you end up spending a good amount more on balls that you hit perfectly on the fairways but lose because of tall grass. Honestly it's just not worth it. If they could just cut the fairways it could be acceptable. It's a bummer that a course with such potential in such a convenient location is rotting away here.

This course needs to be permanently closed. A.W. Tillinghast would be rolling over in his grave if he could see the condition of this place.

1: They tried charging my friend 60.00 to play there, which is insane.

2: There aren’t any fairways. It’s just long grass

3: The tee boxes and greens are bare. Putting is impossible, like putting on the moon, it’s a joke.

4: Forget finding a ball if it’s off the fairway: you’re going to look for it for 10 minutes and come back with nothing.

5: The golf carts are all broken.

Needless to say, this place is a joke. The owner/manager was getting drunk sitting outside the clubhouse. DO NOT play this course under any circumstance.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Old Orchard Country Club, and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The golf course was kept in such a horrible state that it was almost unplayable. The fairways and greens were in terrible condition, with overgrown grass and numerous bare patches. To make matters worse, the sprinklers were malfunctioning and soaked the golf carts, leaving us drenched and miserable.

Trying to find golf balls on this course was like searching for a needle in a haystack. The rough was so poorly maintained that even perfectly hit balls would vanish without a trace. It's clear that the management has no interest in maintaining the course properly or providing a decent golfing experience.

I would never consider coming back to Old Orchard Country Club. Save your time and money and find a course that actually cares about its patrons and course upkeep. This place is a disgrace to the game of golf.
