We are so very happy that we found Senior Helpers to help our Mom. We have been working with them for over a year now. Russ and Marilyn have been amazing to deal with. My Mom requires help in terms of socialization and getting to appointments. I live out of town so it isn’t possible for me to be there for my Mom as much as I would like. Marilyn is simply marvellous - she texts me pictures, updates, keeps track of appointments and definitely goes above and beyond. We are vey lucky to have found your organization and to work with you. Senior Helpers provided my 96 year old mother with exemplary care during the last 6 months of her life. With the expert help of Lisa, Maggie and Margaret, mom was able to remain in her home.
She loved the quiet companionship, the excellent meals as well as help with hygiene. Her hair was cut, her nails were done!
Lisa was always available to help at a moment's notice whenever a crisis arose no matter the hour.
I knew my mother was always safe in trusting caring hands.

My family was really impressed by the senior companion services offered. Russ paired up our mom with the perfect companion who was able to deal with her issues of dementia and keep her engaged and made her feel a sense of stability and safety. She took her for walks and out for coffees and my mom enjoyed the time they spent together. Russ always responds back right away and able to accomodate scheduling issues. Thanks Russ and Angela :)

We used the services of Senior Helpers for a few months to help my 91 year old mother who lived in her own home by herself. Mom was not eating properly and starting to become a bit reclusive. Mom was resistant to having someone in her home but Lisa and Russ met with us to answer all of our questions and listen to Mom's concerns. Lisa helped facilitate a meeting at a coffee shop for Mom to get to know her caregiver.
The caregiver, Naida, provided compassionate care and kept us informed about any issues that arose. She was very responsive to our requests and quite flexible when we had to adjust the schedule for appointments.
When we finally had to move Mom to a retirement residence, she was sad to say goodbye to Naida - a testament to the caring relationship that Naida had established.
We highly recommend Senior Helpers.

Russ and his team of caregivers are a God sent….. We brought them into our parents home part-time initially to give them a little assistance and peace of mind for us. When our circumstances changed, and we needed full-time help, Russ stepped up with a care plan that met our needs 24 hours a day.

This post is overdue but I literally cannot say enough about Senior Helpers. Russ and Lisa were literal lifesavers and scrambled on very short notice to arrange for 24/7 care for my Mom following a serious fall. By the time she came home from hospital in under 72 hours, everything was in place. The caregivers were so helpful and attentive making the sudden transition for my parents from independent living to sharing their home with these kind, caring ladies. The security and reassurance this provided our extended family allowed us to focus on dealing with the changes/logistics that follow such incidents while knowing that our Mom was being taken care of especially during the overnight hours. The encouragement she received to accept the home help and personal care along with all the physio and exercise needs allowed us to focus on quality time visits. There were definitely extenuating circumstances that were a challenge for all of us and Russ handled those with compassion and patience. We just could not be more grateful and would (and have) recommended Senior Helpers Mississauga to anyone in need of home help. They deliver what they promise.

Our experience with Senior Helpers Mississauga has been exemplary. Lisa and Russ Donnelly have been caring, responsive and flexible with our situation which is complicated as they were accountable for the care of Mum, Dad and Auntie Jean ( all in their mid 80s). As you would expect, issues came up constantly and Senior Helpers Mississauga were always there with a smile and solution that put the care of our elders first. The Care Providers were all wonderful individuals who really went above and beyond to ensure that our elders were provided companionship and excellent in-home care including meal preparation, hygiene, toileting, laundry all while ensuring the safety of our elders. As important, it removed the burden of care to the experts leaving us to focus on day-to-day personal interactions with Mum, Dad and Auntie Jean.
