This being a popular tourist destination, there's always a queue for a table.
As usual, the bean sprouts was superb, plump, juicy and crunchy. The fish balls and meatballs were quite good. However, the chicken was a bit of a let down; it was tough and a bit overcooked. The rice was fragrant, but it was rather wet and sticky.
It's good to try if you've never been there, but otherwise it may not be worth the queue.

This resto is really famous for tourism and local, so if you want to visit I suggest u come early. We order chicken feet, half chicken, tauge and hainam rice for 2 person. For us, the tastes is really good and it more delicious when u add the chili sauce. The chili sauce not really spicy but it will add more sensation and it really match with the combination from chicken and hainam rice. If one day i visit Ipoh again, I’ll come back here.

Good place to have chicken rice but since this place is now part of a very popular tourist spot, you have to queue. For me, the tastes were great but not worth the long queue. If you have been to Ipoh, perhaps you may want to skip this place. However, for the first timer - perhaps can give it a try!

Bean Sprout Chicken is a must-try dish when visiting Ipoh. However, it's more of a set meal rather than a single dish, consisting of bean sprouts, chicken, and fragrant rice. The bean sprouts and chicken are served separately on plates, accompanied by a plate of rice. Eat the chicken and paired with the chili ginger sauce, it adds another tastiness to the chicken and rice in your mouth. The bean sprouts size is big and well cooked. Believe that only the exceptional water quality in Ipoh can grow such plump and crunchy bean sprouts, quite different from the thin, long varieties commonly seen elsewhere.

This well-known bean sprout chicken establishment has been in operation for an extended period. The restaurant is climate-controlled. I was deeply dissatisfied with the chicken dish, as it was excessively overcooked, resulting in a tough texture. The other aspects of the meal were satisfactory. The service provided was typical.

Meat and fish balls were brilliant, bean sprout fresh, crunchy and goes well with pepper soy sauce. Chicken feet and rice noodle, kum quat drink also good.
We came in around 4.30pm, busy but only need to wait for 5 minutes. Prepare to sweat though.

You can feel the authentic Chinese style. I ordered fried bean sprouts, which is supposed to be famous there, and steamed chicken. Tasty.

The restaurant inside was not so clean. So, if you care about the cleanness, it may not be good for you.
