A bit meh chicken hor fun; noodle is big portion but lack of flavor. Costs rm8 but prawn is halved, and chicken shreds isn't the smoothest either.
Apam balik, on the other hand, is legit. The batter is quite different and best eaten fresh or immediately. It's not the cheapest at rm1.50 per piece but the peanut filling is generous and balanced.
White kopi also can skip, moderate and ntg to shout about at rm2.80.
Crowd is very small at 11am when dine in.

Took a quick lunch stop here enroute to Penang. Thankfully at 1ish, it wasn't overly crowded. The Ipoh hor fun was flavourful. The kuay teow was fine and smooth. Would have preferred the chicken to be leaner. The taugeh was good.
Parking difficult. Park further and walk. Hor hee authentic. Personal preference. Some might love but some might not. Kai see hor fun good. Piping hot and noddles smooth. Only draw back soup too oily.
Ban chang kueh so so. KL taste better. White coffee ping ok. Not the cham. Totally out. The war tan hor was a suprise. Small portion but fried with dark soya sauce. Similar to the northern tua pan. Decent. Sprite with float was normal. Not sure why all the hype.
Actually wanted to eat the chicken rice behind.but was crowded. The que snake until the shop. Leave for another day.

Workers who have work for years can be a challenge. They will just come and take away any bowls or glass after you finish without saying a word. So much for customer service.

Amazing kind service from Tai Kau Meen (Apam Balik) uncle as well as Chicken Hor Fun soup Uncle and aunty.

This place is famous for their custard , 7-up ice cream float , Hor Hee and Kai Si Hor Fun . This shop has been around more than 30 years . Every weekends here is crowded with tourists and they do have other food stalls selling mix rice , fried mee , menglembu famous apam balik .
Parking here is ok during week days but not weekends . Only indoor seatings and place is spacious and food is nice

If you like old feels of a coffee shop, you should give it a visit. 4 to 5 stalls offering food. Coffee is good. As we ate earlier, we only tried the peanut pancake. 👍
Hor fun was smooth, colour and texture ok too but certainly did not make the cut of a good Kai sii hor fun as the taste was bland and soup was rather tasteless. Also expensive at RM8 for a small bowl. Please don't order their coffee too. It was one of the worst kopi I've ever tasted. See the picture and you can already know it fails miserably. Watery and not sure why the coffee was sour.
