AirTrain Newark P4

Thought I was back in the 80’s very ineffective way to move people. Too small and dirty.

anyone who had anything to do with the design and implementation of this train should be condemned to riding it to work every day

- monopoly – it's the only way to get from the NJ transit station to the airport. you're forced to take this garbage
- low capacity – be ready to skip the first train you see
- transfer – you have to transfer from one train to another at this station if you're coming from NJ transit
- cash grab – it costs an arm and a leg to connect to this train from NJ transit.

all in all, the people who run this trash are in the pockets of the car and oil industry and want you to drive

If you're going from the new A gate you must first ride a bud to get to the train. Plus signage to tell where hotel shuttles pick up is adorable.

Very old and bad maintained airtrain. Speakers not working/very loud so they damage your ears. Still you can‘t understand a word. Acceleration and braking super bumpy, I almost fell. In the evenings there are not a lot of trains and you have to wait. Moreover you then need to change because the train does not go through. On every station a guy from the airport is needed to give explanations because whats written on the board is false. What s waste of time and ressources!

The worst. Monday night trying to get to Terminal A. I arrived at train station at 10:02pm, and at 10:50pm I'm only halfway there, waiting at Terminal B right now.

Every time they change schedules, they stop on a busy service and reverse trains during busy days. Whomever works for this place needs to be removed and need more caring people. Even a single star is too much. Horrible for all passengers. Although it improved, still needs work. It starts with caring.

Works fine during the day/ early evening but terrible for late night when trains are infrequent. Tonight track was busy and apparently only one train was running. Waited 30 mins for train to go 2 stops from Terminal C to NJ Transit. Was directed to take train from airport to Rail Link only to have to get off at next stop, take a train back to where i started and then wait for the train that actually went to parking and Rail Link. People waited 30 min just to get to parking lot , some gave up and started walking. Train cars are small and get crowded when not running often. Plenty of "helpers" on track, but are really not that helpful. JFK Air train works much better.
