Another must visit site if you are driving north of Perth. The rocks sticking out from the sand make for an alien like landscape, great for pix on a clear day. We parked in the carpark and walked in but realised you can also drive in to the rocks but not sure what that route is.

Stunning spot - particularly at sunset. The night sky was also incredible!

Well worth the stop. To imagine these structures were the shells of creatures thousands of years ago under the sea is quite humbling. I post a few pictures but they do not do the majesty of the place justice. You have to see for yourself

Fantastic experience, would highly recommend. On a breezy day bring sunglasses as the sand can blow into your eyes. Spectacular views and fun driving off roading.

Great desert experience. Wonderful vista's of seashell formations on the 4km trail. Plenty of photo opportunities but would recommend buying head covering fly nets as there zillions of annoying flies. You may feel silly but you'll be more comfortable than everyone else.

This is another of those must visit at least once place in Perth.
Nature's wonder of naturally formed rock columns.
It's almost 3 hours drive though, so highly recommended to find some mid point activities to make this drive more fun - frankly after 30 mins all the rock columns looked the same to me 😅.
We went for lunch and then ATV ride at the sand dunes after this.

The Pinnacles are a pretty incredible visit, although it's hard to get photos without other people getting in the way!
It's $15 entry per car, which seemed steep to me but the discovery centre and walkway etc was well maintained and there is a staffed gift shop there too.
You can walk or drive through via a walking trail or a 4WD track, which is suitable for most 2WD cars anyway. Just no trailers or large motor homes - you'll need to detach the trailer in their long bays before entering if you drive through, you're likely to stop and get out of the car anyway to walk around + take photos.
Allow approx 45mins to an hour for the visit.
