We went on a rainy day. One couple and their friend was there, they are catching fish. That fellow teaches my kid how to catch fish. We went during fall. A lovely trip to a small town.
Very pretty harbour area. We actually came here as Google Maps highlighted something called the World Famous Dock Lunch, and we were hungry after being disappointed to find our original destination of Discovery Harbour was in fact completely closed (contrary to the online info). However, we wondered what could have caused the Dock Lunch to be famous, judging by it being deserted (despite being open) and it failing the "judge the standards by the state of the toilets" test. So, everything else being closed, we took some pictures and drove on.
Lots of parking, lots of benches to sit. Close to walking paths for a nature walk along the shore. Great place. Washrooms are locked at night. Outhouse available.
We like looking out over the water here.
