Beautiful part of the country.
A beautiful area of the country so relaxing spent a few hours there one afternoon just watching the different bird species and wildlife the silence and solitude was amazing. Well worth a visit
Nice place to visit. We went to the Weardale Centre, and there's a nice cafe there with a few shops. I was disappointed that the gem shop has been replaced by a craft shop. There's plenty of parking, but at the centre it's uphill. It is wheelchair friendly and has toilets.
Fantastic place to visit. I don't drive just yet, but I'm looking forward to coming here again as the views were beautiful. Nice bakery in Stanhope and plenty of local shops that have most things that you need. It's definitely a go-to for families and walkers.

View fantastic. So much to see and places to visit. Stanhope lovely and river wear great for dogs to dip and children paddle (when not fully flowing)
