Workers rude. No other patients were there and still had to wait almost two hours. Just go to the urgent care in suncrest.

Felt like I was cattle. Had a double ear infection and a fever of 103 and they said I had a cold and gave me cough drops. Missed two weeks of school.

I’ve had to go here many times for many reasons, and the medical staff has always been great…but many times I’ve called ahead about needing something done and I was told I could just walk in rather than needing to schedule an appointment. Then when I get there (I have to take the PRT or Bus) I’m told “nope, you need to make an appointment” wasting my time as a student making the trip up to be told I have to come back. Erica is very pushy about needing appointments, so I don’t know if the people I’m speaking to just want to save the time of making an appointment or if they don’t want to work me in as a walk in but it’s very frustrating.
If you call and they offer a walk in, get the persons First and Last name so that you can back yourself up when you go in, or make an appointment anyways.

I’m a WVU student and I’ve been here on two different occasions (both completely unrelated health reasons) and they just never seem to be of any help at all unfortunately. I’m unsure if this is because of their training or if they are outright apathetic because it feels like they just want you out of there as soon as possible and do their job just to scrape by. I would avoid this place if you can, it should only be a last resort option, really.

I was very sick a couple of weeks ago and went to the student health center. I had the same symptoms as a sinus infection I had a couple months back and shared that with doctor there. He told me it wasn’t likely and decided to do a Covid test and told me to get some over the counter Flonase and to take Tylenol… I ended up having a Tele-health meeting with my doctor and it was a sinus infection lol.
