Providence Alaska has been very good to me! Ill always appreciate their professional help. The staff and medical doctors and psychologist are very professional and will stop at any thing to help me with my struggles of mental health.

I was there for almost 3 months so I saw a lot of people come in and out. Some people were not in a spot to see how amazing it was there. I have been in hospitals before and this was by far the best hospital experience ever. Clear boundary's were set and upheld, everyone's mental health was and equal priority, we could actively process thing everyday in a safe place. The only things that I have a real problem with is the fact that if you are transgender that refer to you as your dead name. As a cis person I won't know how that feels but it annoys me. The other thing is that the each room has it own bathroom which means anyone with an eating disorder can throw up or stash food in there. The only problem I personally experienced was one of the staff withheld food because we were arguing. I reported this and it never happens again but from people who have been there more recently I hear she is doing it again. I also don't rember the staffs name we all just called her Karen. But overall genuinely saved my life.

I loved CRC. The staff were nice and actually talked to you when you were down. The groups were informational. The structure is fantastic. And you don't stay there all day. Sometimes you walk outside to the hospital for dinner or around the grounds. These guys care about your child's health and mental stability!
