Practice in crisis is all you hear when you call!! If you do get through after 84 tries, they say to hang up as all slots are already taken 🫣 as for scripts - theyre never there or always late & if /when you see a Dr & they tell you to come back if no better - YOU CANT GET THROUGH 😡
I have no confidence in this practice at all.

Well just made over 200 phone calls this morning between 0845 and 0903 with as usual absolutely no response whatsoever. This is an absolute disgrace and joke.. I've had enough.. I live in Carrickfergus, can anyone advise me about another practice who actually cares about their patients?

I have sort of made excuses for this Practice for years but I just can’t deny that they’re not very good and it’s impossible at times to get your repeat prescriptions or appointments.

I really hope this practice can pull themselves up from the spiral so that people can get the help that they need. I’m sure the working conditions are miserable for the staff these days but I really don’t understand why no one can get a simple appointment.

Happy to now be with a better practice and GP.

I have came across some cheeky people in my life but nothing compared to the receptionist in this place. If you can't do your job then don't come into work. There is absolutely no need to be cheeky to people when they are trying to be nice.

Absolute disgrace impossible to get through to them the phone system automatically hangs up. Went to the practice to try and book face to face was told to phone. When I explained that the phone keeps cutting me off they shrugged their shoulders and said I need to keep trying. I’ve been trying for a month now. Clearly by reading other reviews this practice is unfit for purpose. Now I have to change doctors.

Edit: For everyone who feels enough is enough: Please report this practice to The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) - Northern Ireland. Just Google the name and contact details will be on the website and you can make a complaint where it will actually be heard.

Honestly, shut it down. Unfit for operation. Lines suspiciously at full capacity with no queuing system at 8.45 on the dot. IMPOSSIBLE to book an appointment while my health is deteriorating. Disgraceful. Are GPs busy chasing the money with private consultations? You can't even implement a queuing system on your telephone line?? The impression is you don't want people calling you, so shut it down and do us all a favour. Nobody I have spoken to has ever had such an appalling experience with their own local practice. Will be formally reporting the practice to the regulator. The reviews speak for themselves. Enough is enough.

Clean and presentable clinic with plenty of waiting chairs. Receptionists are always helpful and doctors are always helpful. The only issue I’ve ever had is when trying to call to make an appointment but I assume this would be the case with any practices.
