Tres fun lunch with an incredible wine list and decadent food (omg the terrine). Loved the tiny corner wine bar vibe. Pumping on a Friday lunchtime. What cost of living crisis?!?!

We had a lovely lunch at Bar Copains last weekend! It's such a cute and cosy establishment. Service was attentive, and they thoroughly explained to us each dish. We had a few dishes to share, excellent flavours, fresh ingredients, and the combination of crispy textures was divine!!

Dessert did not disappoint, madeleines were lighter than air, fluffy and full of flavour. My absolute favourite!

I shall return to try the other dishes from the menu. Thank you!

The food was good. The anchovy puff pastry and leeks in a bag were my favourites. Tried other recommended dishes, and personally, they were all just fine. Personal taste.

What really impressed me was the service. Very efficient but friendly, always checking all tables and promptly asking if we wanted more drinks, and never had an empty glass of water.

It's a quaint little place with small plates of decent food and a nice local bar atmosphere with great service.

Had such a beautiful time here on Tuesday night. Our server was amazing, so kind and personable and cracked a good laugh with us (I forgot your name I’m sorry! You had the dr martens). Good selection of food and drinks and the atmosphere was lovely as always. The madeleine’s were outstanding and I highly recommend.
I love sitting outside on a warm summer evening - it was still lovely with the heater on in the winter though!
Thank you team for your wonderful service, it’s always a pleasure coming here.

Great martini’s. Food was warming but didn’t carry a lot of flavour, it was all really subtle. Standout for us was the leeks in a bag — an abundance of flavour!

Second time visiting this evening and can easily say that again, it is the best food I’ve ever had. Each dish is like a symphony of flavours orchestrated to perfection. With every mouthful, it's as if a gourmet fireworks show is happening in your mouth, leaving you in a state of pure food ecstasy. The menu is carefully curated, offering a delightful array of culinary delights that never fail to impress. And that pork belly? so incredible! it's like a siren call tempting you to trade your first born just for another bite. A Saturday night with no reservation and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we didn’t wait for a table. The experience at Bar Copains is truly unparalleled, making every visit a culinary adventure worth savouring. If you’re still reading this review and you’re not on your way to bar copains, what the hell are you doing?

Friendly but patchy service. Really really good food - faves were fig/jamon/whipped ricotta, anchovy, potato scallops. It was nice it wasn’t super busy as it was a Monday night. It is pricey but the quality of the food made it worth it. Recommended
