Soonta in Norwood is my go-to spot for a quick Vietnamese takeaway during my lunch breaks. They offer a variety of banh mi and banh bowls with numerous protein options. Despite its popularity, I've never had to wait in a long queue. The service is impressively fast, and the food is consistently good. Today I got the Banh Bowl with roast pork. I asked for additional chillies 🌶️ and the girl who served added plenty 😅

It's perfect for a quick takeaway, though the staff speaks quite quickly, which can be a bit challenging to understand at times, even if you're the only customer. Nonetheless, their efficiency and well-trained food preparation more than make up for it. Highly recommend for a speedy and tasty lunch!

I often bought banh mi here but they can’t manage the consistency. Sometimes the pork was nice, crispy, tasty but other day would be soggy, or dry or rubbery. Last visit was pretty disappointing. Order two pork roll, behind me was a white lady ordered the same. But the staff given her first, why? What’s the difference between me and her, instead I ordered more qty than that lady. Be mindful with your service, customer can find heaps of vietnamese shop in adelaide as they are grow in number. There was only one vietnamese shop around norwood but now more than five.

Wow, Vietnamese cuisine really surprised me! The grilled chicken rice was insanely good. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Stopped in for lunch today and got a combination roll and my partner got a rice bowl
Both products were delicious and the pork was cooked to perfection.🤤😍 The roll was fresh, staff were friendly. All round great experience and could not recommend more.
