Small family owned restaurant with quick service and good food. The people are very friendly. They served us when they were going to close soon.

Best prices and sushi in the Cliffside/Edgewater area. Super friendly family owned business and rolls freshly made on the spot. This hidden gem will be my go to for all things sushi.

I stopped in this deli to get some lunch. I called in the tuna sandwich and chocolate smoothie. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by a nice man. I gave my name and the food was ready. I paid and left. When I ate, the smoothie wasn't great, and the tuna was ok. It just needed maybe some salt. All in all, I had an ok experience.

I have had the pleasure of experiencing Food for Life, and I must say it left an indelible impression on me. When it comes to sushi and poke bowls, this place truly reigns supreme. The freshness and taste of their offerings are unparalleled, making it an absolute delight for any sushi enthusiast.

The sushi at Food for Life is a culinary masterpiece. Each roll is meticulously prepared with the finest ingredients, resulting in a burst of flavors with every bite. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in the presentation is commendable. It's no wonder why their sushi is widely regarded as the best in town.

But the wonders of Food for Life don't end with sushi. Their poke bowls are equally exceptional. The combination of fresh, cubed fish, vibrant vegetables, and flavorful sauces creates a harmonious blend of tastes and textures. The poke bowls are addictive in the best possible way, leaving you craving for more.

Beyond the incredible food, the owner of Food for Life is a true gem. Not only does he take pride in his establishment, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a memorable experience. He is a pleasure to chat with, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner's dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in the quality of the food and service provided.

In conclusion, if you're a sushi and poke bowl aficionado, Food for Life is an absolute must-visit. Prepare yourself for a gastronomic journey filled with fresh, tasty, and addicting delights. And don't miss the opportunity to chat with the owner, who adds an extra layer of charm to the experience. You won't be disappointed.

One of the friendliest establishments I've been to just to pick up lunch. Family owned. One of the best poke bowl spots in town.

One of my go-to spots in the area for many years, everything is so fresh, delicious and healthy! Spicy salmon and tuna poke bowls are a personal favorite with a side of miso soup or edamame, but they have many other good sandwich and sushi options as well. The owners are also very friendly and hospitable
