Great little hike super close to Provo/Orem. Very sustained and steep so bring your game face! Also probably not for kids right now... The trail can get super rocky and slippery, especially close to the falls. You will most likely be getting wet, so prepare with the proper boots! Also, you can't hike this one too early in the spring or you'll run into glacier snow pack. 😅 It's never been greener than this year though... 2023! 4 stars because trail conditions can be sketchy AF.
To get there, park in the bridal veil Falls area, go under the freeway and cross the bridge on the right, then follow fence left around and go up to the fire road. Turn right, follow it to the shack looking thing and turn left... That is the trail head!

Love this hike, this is not super well known and a great place for getting away from the hustle of the valley. I usually only see one to two other groups of hikers on this path. Pretty steep but not bad if you are in good shape.

Super fun hike especially during the fall when all the colors come out. It’s quite an incline so if you skip leg day this hike is not for you lol. If you’re wanting to see the waterfall at the top bring shoes or boots you can get muddy and wet. Definitely don’t bring kids unless you plan on carrying them most of the way. Great views great workout!

A dope alternative to Bridal Veil. While the falls aren't as big as Bridal Veil is, it's definitely still worth it, especially when you add in the fact that it's way less crowded than Bridal Veil gets. Went there with a friend and we only ran into like 3 other small groups the whole time. To get to the falls, you just follow the creek up. On either side of the creek there are small dirt paths that you can follow up, but just beware of rattlesnakes, which like to hide in the foliage that hugs the dirt paths. It also gets quite steep as you continue up.

Parking was easiest from the Nunn’s Park camping lot north of the highway off the bridal falls exit. The trailhead begins along the road, across the old roadway bridge, then follow the trail up and eventually to the right along the service road. The elevation profile is straight up, no switchbacks, and the lower 2/3 is very exposed, so hike early or late to avoid the scorching sun. Once the trail joins the creek you can pretty much follow it up any way you would like to the falls. Great views await!
This is a short but taxing hike, so water, sunscreen, and a reasonable level of fitness are required. Avoid the temptation to climb the upper tiers above the falls — the rocks are loose and slide easily, and the consequences of a fall would be sever. Note any wet rocks in the creek are very slippery too, so mind your ankles and use caution when traversing. A great morning warm up hike just minutes from Provo!

The initial hike up the dirt road is grueling but once you get past it it's a fun little hike. We like walking up the stream jumping from rock to rock, the waterfall at the top isn't the biggest but it sure is pretty!

A very pretty but VERY rigorous hike. The first half of the trail is fairly easy up a gradual incline, but once you reach the creek bed it becomes a steep scramble over shifting rocks and crosses the creek several times. There are a series of waterfalls up the canyon and the views are absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't recommend children go on this hike, but if you're careful and familiar at hiking it can be a lot of fun.
