We loved this! We didn't make it up to Dinosaur Ridge because we walked Triceratops Trail instead, but headed to the visitor center for souvenirs. We didn't realize there was an exhibit hall here, so it was a nice surprise to be able to go on there and see some really cool artifacts, fossils, meteorites, etc. It was $4 per person to go through the very small hall, but well worth it in my opinion. There are many statues out front to take photos with, as well as gold panning (and outhouses!). We got some really cool souvenirs for people of all ages, and it was very memorable.

Great for kids and adults! There isn't much to see in the visitor center (one small exhibit, some statues, a gift shop, and some sand boxes for kids to dig up fossils). The main appeal is going on a bus tour of the area and seeing real fossils. I can't believe I got to see unearthed fossils with my own eyes. It's a great stop for 90ish minutes.

We loved this place - my dinosaur loving kiddo was in heaven and learned so much. Also the staff so super knowledgeable - I recommend the bus tour. Alice our tour guide knew so much and was very enthusiastic. This is a must visit place in the Denver area.

Quaint little interpretive center with INCREDIBLE staff/volunteers. Clear signage throughout the hike. Great maps. $7 downloadable tour in English or Spanish was how we experienced Dino Ridge on a sunny day with temps in the 80's. It's about 2 miles with incline/decline....no shade. Our little crew made it just fine, but if you have any type of limited mobility - I'd recommend paying a bit more for an air conditioned shuttle to take you to the dozen(ish) stops along the ridge road.
Massive dino dance party is on display at Track Site 1. And the audio tour claims it's the #1 track site to date. I can believe it. Remarkable.
Definitely a family-friendly win.

Tour is kind of boring unless your a kid. The footprints aren't that great...they should spray paint them red for better viewing. Good guide though and nice older staff at visitor center.

Awesome spot to see some real Dino remains in the wild. The volunteers make the display come alive. Being a Dino-geek I enjoyed all of it. But, it is a bit more focused to the younger humans. I’m glad I went!

A really nice outing to set aside 2 or so hours to if you are taking the trail on foot and want to read through all the self guided tour signs. Highly recommend for people young or old. (Make sure to set aside extra time if you are going to go to the exhibit hall)
