Great mix between museum and aquarium! Awesome place for everyone big or small ^^
Personnel was very nice and answered questions and overall great to talk to!
Easy to reach by subway and car.
You can easily spend three hours there!!
They have lockers and are barrier free! The space itself is on 2 floors but the have lifts and wheelchair lifts so you can reach every area.

Much bigger than we expected! Well worth a visit. If you don't speak German, pick up an English leaflet at the info desk on the way in and buy the audio guide for €3 (plus you have to leave ID as a deposit). The audio guide gives you some key info and details on some of the creatures. There are lockers for €1 returnable coin, toilets by the entrance but no cafe.
With the audio tour we were there over 3 hours (2 adults).

Interesting place. It allows you to take a look at a small piece of the fascinating and vast world hidden under the surface of the water. There are penguins. There's also a croc. You can see the whole thing at a slow pace in an hour, so I recommend thinking about it when buying a parking ticket. You don't actually need to print a ticket bought online (despite instructions on how to print it on it).

Expected only aqua animals hence the name, except there were also quite some other animals (Insects, lizards and such) available, also some history of sea travel and information about the ocean (and the future of the ocean)

Only addition would be more english texts for tourist. Besides that an experience I would definitly recommend

A great place to visit, was in the holidays and weather was poor so a lot of people had same idea, too many within the museum so couldn’t really enjoy the aquarium sections, any other time though I expect would have been much more enjoyable, need translation tech or a translator if don’t speak German as no foreign signage on exhibits other than Deutsch

Been there a couple of times, as good for a day out when the weather is wet and cold. Still not impressed that none of the information boards includes English translation. As far as I remember, you can rent an English audio, which isn’t very ideal when you’re with kids.

A fantastic biology class for kids.
Recommend it to all that have kids (one visit isn’t enough) and school tours.

Skeletons were very interesting. Could be great to put an actual photo of each animal next to their respective skeleton.
The restaurant next to museum was full and not giving anything except drinks!
Really needs a cafe with some simple food items.
The Aquazoo is in the center of a beautiful garden and great to walk around and perhaps picnic.
A bicycle rental or cart rental station can be a nice addition to this garden complex.

Suggestions to the museum:
-Needs more English information next to the stations.
-Having a science communicator going around and engaging with visitors
Perhaps in an animal suit even.
-Didn’t see a replica or a shell of Penguin egg. Can be nice to put the replicas or shells of the animals somewhere for kids to see the shape, color, size
-Perhaps a book section can be nice. Also putting a book related to each station next to it for kids to check.
Even a section for book sale.
-Stones section
Wasn’t that busy. Needs a science communicator to walk around and interact with visitors. Perhaps a stone replica for kids to touch, a smelly stone… can attract more attention.
